Arguably the biggest match of the season in the English league, could decide the season. City just punished an Arsenal mistake as I was typing this. The Arsenal choke continues? Pretty exciting match so far as you’d hope for with the two top teams.

Shit I forgot they were playing today. Can only watch the CL from the office so I'm watching Chelsea v. Dortmund.

City and Arsenal do play each other again in April but it could very well be decided by then.
 
Oh no Arsenal. Also lel at the fact someone at the BBC updated the PL table before the match even finished, that's some wikipedia editor energy right there.
 
Yeah that's pretty much the league right there. Arsenal can't beat city away and both teams will bottle it just about equally. Can't afford to fall off during this important time of the year and they always manage to do it

Nah, I disagree. "Absolute shit" is way too harsh. Chelsea did more for the game and had some great chances. But Koebel is one heck of a goalkeeper. Chelsea would have deserved a 1:1 in the end but Dortmund has found what they got critized a lot for over the last years: They can win now such games where it's close and they have accepted that sometimes, if you just lead 1:0 and the enemy is storming your goal, you just park the bus and do whatever is needed to bring the close lead over the time.
Don't know who the defender was who tried to outrun Adeyemi but Adeyemi is one of the fastest guys overall. It's like you wouldn't blame someone getting outrun by Mbappe bc Mbappe's speed is outworldly.
Sure, he just could have knocked him off but then it's a red card and with 10 men they would have definitely lost.

Apropos: the Adeyemi goal was Maradona reloaded.

Don't get me wrong Chelsea was the better team today, I'm just saying Mudryk looked bad. It felt like every time they had something going down the left side, he would lose the ball. Felix looked great though, if I'm Chelsea I'm thinking I need to sign him this summer.

I think that was Enzo Fernandez. And to his credit, he didn't let Adeyemi run right by him. There were faster players who could've caught up to help out if they weren't jogging.

The guy has lolcow potential. Too bad Serie A is quickly becoming the most irrelevant league in the top 5 and he's pretty much an obscure figure.

In other news, Bayern lost today. Union can jump ahead of them and Dortmund can tie them on points if they both win this weekend. Leipzig really dropped the ball on this with a tie and loss these past 2 weeks
