I want England team's to be winning these tournaments to fuck with the other league's who are ok with having top teams dominating their league's every year and having the lower teams on the verge of bankruptcy forced to sell their best players to these teams in order to stay afloat.
True but you have to admit the Italian teams were very fortunate in the knockout stage draws of the CL. They didn't have to go up against Bayern, Madrid, City, etc. I didn't follow Europa as closely but if I'm not mistaken, no Italian team had to play Arsenal or even United. Then Juve (3rd best Italian team in terms of points) shit the bed against Sevilla (ranked 12th in La Liga).
Milan faced Tottenham, which people claim its a Big 6 in England and Roma faced Leverkusen, which I think is a top 6 in Germany (?).
