Hadn't his contract ended? Anyway, he made his promise come true and didn't go to Juve. He's a man of honor.
No. Napoli renewed it for another year while allowing him to take a sabbatical to prevent him from leaving to rivals. So Italy are trying to use that reasoning as why they shouldn't pay but Napoli's president is giving out insane quotes, trying to get the 3 mil. My favorite is "Admittedly, €3 million is not a lot to Napoli and even less to me, but the question in this case is not about the 'almighty dollar,' but a matter of principle instead."

With how the current media is around that team, we'd have just generated a new variation of the US women's team.
That's the last thing you want tbh. The commercials leading up to this world cup were unbelievably cringe, with the "world" trying to figure out how to stop the US. The loudest player is actively inserting herself into politics and women's sports to a degree that actively makes me hate women's sports despite the fact I want to enjoy the women's game (more footy is good). The entire debacle with the equal pay was the final straw for me and I wanted them to lose in the quarter finals so losing right away is even better. This world cup, the USWNT made 3.5 million from this world cup but will end up getting 7 million in wages. This team is actively losing money for US Soccer, which isn't swimming in cash to begin with. Fucking hate this group and I hope Rapinoe slips on a soccer ball and breaks her spine forever

When you account for the amount of money generated by the men’s tournament versus the women’s tournament, the women get paid 24% of revenue while the mean get 7%. All these equal pay narratives break down once you take a closer look at them. To be fair the quality of football was better than I anticipated but they’ve got no right to bitch about more money.

Sergi Canós makes permanent switch to Valencia. Sad to see such an icon for Brentford depart in such a manner but it has been foreshadowed for at least two seasons now. Frank seems to have faith in a few of the B Team lads to step up as of current, but I fear for our depth if we get any notable injuries like with Raya back in 21/22.

In just one game, Christian Pulisic has scored more goals for Milan than Mudryk & Enzo Fernandez have for Chelsea, despite them being there since January.
They got absolutely fucking slated on Twitter the other day with people pointing out over the last couple of transfer windows they've spent £1billion and still couldn't put more than 1 goal past 10 man West Ham

They literally could have used this tournament to push the women's game as a way to get more footy to people while growing the game. Instead, they put a bunch of unlikeable lesbians to try and talk down to people and the best moment of the tournament was watching them get fucked in the round of 16. And nobody feels bad for any of the tears

And it's entirely deserved. They've outspent entire leagues and still have no established striker, no starting level goal keeper, no elite wingers, and based of there staggering amount of injuries, no competent medical/ physio staff.

+£1 billion spent and they have a whopping 3 wins in 2023. Embarrassing.

Burnely have signed Aaron Ramsey (not that one) from Aston Villa

Barcelona again deciding to be completely wild with their finances, will no longer be offering breakfast for the youth teams

Lukaku is still a Chelsea player. With no where to go and not in Chelsea's plans (since they have just a ton of strikers to pick from), he is training with the U21 squad

Mason Greenwood is being forced out of Manchester United and the Saudi clubs look like they will not be a safety net for the player. The entire point of getting all these players was ultimately to improve their public image and Greenwood does not help with that

Lazio are in talks with Guendouzi from Marseille. The former Arsenal man is valued at 22 mil by Marseille while Lazio have offered 15 mil. Not far with valuations so I expect this to go through soon

Carlos Tevez is the coach of Independiente in a move that really surprises me. For those unaware, the two big clubs are River Plate and Boca Juniors (where Tevez was a legend). Independiente and Racing are two big rivals as well from Buenos Aires and there is some crossover between all 4 clubs along with San Lorenzo so him signing on to be a coach (first time coach as well) really surprises me

Boosted by their inability to sign world class defender Harry Maguire, West Ham are in talks with Sevilla to sign Youssef En-Nesyri.

West Ham have also signed Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart and had a 40 mil bid for Mohammed Kudus of Ajax rejected.

Otavio has signed for Al-Nassr from Porto for 60 mil. Al-Ittihad wants to buy Marquinhos but the brazilian wants to stay in France

Jeremy Doku is signing for Man City and will have his medical done soon. Pacqueta might not happen this transfer window but City may look to sign him in January

And finally, Hugo Ekitike from PSG may be on his way to West Ham as both clubs held talks yesterday

Jesus Christ, the state of this club.

Mourinho (or Roma) allegedly wants him.

There were literal protests in front of the Independiente HQ over Tevez's signing. Not only because he is a former rival, but because it is a very risky shot in the dark for a team that desperately needs good results - They are on the verge of being relegated if they don't turn the boat around in time.

The do brilliant moves like signing players on a free for one year then selling them for massive gains only to counter it by doing stuff like this

Good luck Roma lol. They already have a center forward too

Good to know this wasn't received well

West Ham have also signed Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart

This actually hurts Stuttgart bc they also lost their best attacker.

The last two seasons they battled relegation and only prevented it barely ... but now they are 1st in Bundesliga after the 1st matchday bc they beat Bochum 5:0 and Bayern "only" won 4:0 against Bremen.
