I’d love to say that I’m surprised, but…

The issue is, can and will anyone do anything about the blatant corruption at FIFA (and probably at a fair few other levels of football)? Or do we just have to put up with it because they know we’ll support our teams and countries no matter what? Cunts take our loyalty for a laugh, it really boils my piss.

It seems like barcelona are going to snatch rodri

Oh wow. Talk about 11th hour. I thought he was on his way to Madrid. They must have pulled out so they can focus on another one season wonder teenager for 150 mil.

edit: Mo Salah to Trabzonspor on a 2 year deal. Kind of a weird move for him, I'm sure he had plenty of suitors. Kind of cool at the same time though. Better than going to Gala, Fenerbahce, or Besiktas like every other player does.

Yan Diamonde. For allegedly 125 millions, with several bonus agreements 140 millions.

RB Leipzig announced it earlier today.

You're German; is he the real deal? I just can't see the Bernabeu ever being satisfied with someone having that sort of price tag if they don't come in and immediately make an impact. God help him if they go trophyless for a 3rd straight season because they're always looking for a scapegoat over there.

I rarely watch full RB Leipzig matches but when I do Frankfurt loses 6:0 to Leipzig and Diamonde scores a hat-trick.

Isn't he a left winger?

Yes.

But with Diamonde joining I guess Vinicius is going to Arsenal for real now.

I was curious and asked Google. Google says there are four transfers of players with an age of under 20y and that cost over 100 million.
- Mbappe from Monaco to P$G for 180 millions
- Dembele from Dortmund to Barcelona for 148 millions
- Jude Bellingham from Dortmund to Madrid for 127 millions
- Joao Felix from Benfica to Atletico for 127 millions

Real better wins some silver this season (I hope they don't).

Araujo to Liverpool on loan. What a strange transfer window this summer has been.
Surprisingly this makes sense for both teams. Liverpool are really light on center backs so getting a trial before you buy for a center back isn't a bad option. And Barcelona is definitely needing to open up some financial spots for Rodri and a center forward since they are always in financial trouble and need a center forward

It get's funnier. RB Leipzig had their sights on a guy named Asllani from TSG Hoffenheim as a replacement for Diamonde but yesterday after RB announced the Diamonde transfer to Madrid Hoffenheim later announced that the Asllani transfer would not happen bc he failed the med check. So RB Leipzig is now missing some attacker while Hoffenheim has suddendly too many attackers.

And imagine all the lol's we'll have if Real shouldn't win any silver ware this season again.

Edit: The South Korean federation admitted that they paid for hookers for foreign referees in 2011 and 2012 :stress:

Med check? Sounds more like someone wants an upgrade. Either an upgraded transfer fee or an upgraded player

Probably but it doesn't look like the transfer fee was too high as Asllani hads a clause in his contract that sets the fee, allegeldy 27 million. He had 21 scorer in 35 matches last season for TSG. Leipzig came up with some concernes during the med check but there aren't any reports or rumours about them going for another player - so far.

Anyways, 2. Bundesliga started this weekend. VfL Wolfsburg whose squad has a worth of 170 million (that's the worth of the next 4 clubs in the list combined) startet their run with an impressingly boring 0:0 against Kaiserslautern whose squad has a net worth of 27 millions.

In the Regionalliga West (4th tier in German league pyramid) the club Sportfreunde Siegen sacked their coach after just 2 matchdays after they lost their 1st match to a newbie team in the league and only getting a draw in the 2nd match, against another newbie team.
