What a waste Oscar's career has been. Reduced to nothing more than a garbage "streets will never forget" youtube video player. Since his move he's won 2 absolutely meaningless trophies in an absolutely irrelevant league in an irrelevant footballing country in 5 years lol. Least his bank account is healthy, I guess, but even that sort of angle is retarded because a bench warmer in a Championship side could set himself up for life if he spends and saves responsibly.

Used to get picked regularly for Brazil before his move. Not even sure if he's played in any competition for them after WC 2014. 30 now, no clubs will even be thinking about him because his wages. No wonder anytime we hear anything about him he's basically begging to stay in China, probably because they're the only country left on Earth where he'll even sniff a 6 figure a week paycheck. What a jackass.

Never did I ever foresee myself writing this statement, but here we are: I hope Sunderland wins the League 1 play-offs, because I fucking cannot bare the idea of Wycombe Wanderers going up again. Should have never got Championship football in the first place, stupid fucking Covid auto-point generator nonsense.

With one game remaining, FC Shalke 04 have secured their promotion back to the Bundesliga. Werder Bremen need a single point in their last game to get the second promotion. Hamburger SV and Darmstadt are tied on 57 with Hamburger SV having a 9 goal differential (so no bristol city most likely happening) and St. Pauli with 54 points but also with 9 goal difference on Darmstadt so even more unlikely.

In the Bundesliga, Furth are confirmed relegated. Arminia are 3 points and 7 goals behind Stuttgardt for 16th spot and a chance at safety but that isn't as unrealistic to swing (considering Stuttgardt need to lose in order for GD to matter). Hertha Berlin are in 15th and 3 points ahead of Stuttgardt but have a -33 GD which is worse than everyone except Furth so that doesn't help them. So it looks like Hamburger SV and Darmstadt are going to battle it out to see who plays Stuttgardt for that final spot in the Bundesliga. Its good to see Stuttgardt back in their normal spot in Germany

Well Haaland to City is all but official. As if things weren't already bad enough for the other 19 clubs, and that was them without a recognized number 9. He should be banging in 30+ in the league next season barring injuries and fatigue no problem.
Gonna say this right now.

If Man City still cannot win the Champions League with arguably the best young striker in the world then they're never going to win it, the very thought of De Bruyne passing to Haaland should make most defenders wake up in a cold sweat.

I would hold off on that until you see who they end up losing and how well Haaland fits in. Don't forget, they have one of the best young Argentinian forwards joining them in the summer too so no clue how he will fit in and who makes way. Plus Fernandinho is 37 with an expiring contract so replacing him is key (I know Rodri is his replacement technically but you need his replacement/person who cycles in for games). So while this is a huge get, its still early to say its do or die right now

Strikers are overrated

t. Wet Spam customer

In all seriousness though, i doubt he'll be as prolific, many players struggle to switch between Bundesliga and PL. Honestly think the resulting Jesus to Arsenal transfer is spicier

In other news, Chile may be able to replace Ecuador in the World Cup.

The reason? Ecuador called a Colombian player for several matches during the competition, which is strictly forbidden. The argument was accepted by both Conmebol and FIFA and is in analysis. I can't imagine the continental-level butthurt it will cause.

I saw that was an issue but it it actually going to fully replace Ecuador? And why would it be Chile? Peru should move up and out of the playoff qualifiers and then next in line would be Colombia

From what I know, the punishment applied to Ecuador would be the loss of their earned points and distributed to the adversaries in the proportion of how many points they earned over whom. Chile would benefit with six points, having lost both their home and away matches against them, and would thus have enough for a direct spot, whereas the others would more or less remain in the same spots they are already.
