A bit of related local news. During a semi-pro cup match final, a club with lots of Croat supporters sang Croatian nationalist songs and threw up sig heils in the crowd. A number of them were recently arrested after an investigation because of new laws banning far right imagery in public.

Man that was beautiful to watch. Of course, Liverpool are going to fuck it up in the future but its fun to watch it all happen right now. I think that eliminates United from the title race conversation

Can't believe I missed United getting pumped 7-0.

Also can't believe it had to be fucking Liverpool that did it.
"Were you having a bad day?"
nods
"Well, Man U got proper fucked. Does that make you feel better?"
nods

Late, but I'm happy to see Karius playing a match again. It's already bad for a player when he spends months or an entire season without playing due to an injury, I can only imagine how awful it must feel to go 2 years without playing a single match just because nobody trusts you.

Was browsing /sp/ yesterday.

And between the threads praising TSUUUUUUUUUU and TSUUUUUUUUUU being redeemed since they lost 0-5 under him compared to 0-7 and this meme of how football is like rock, paper and scissors.

Some Vietnamese poster almost correctly guessed the scoreline about 2 hours before the game started.

Who would have thought that Fulham vs Brentford would be a top half of the table blockbuster at the start of the season? It’s been an entertaining game so far.

hold on here, lets not get carried away. Chelsea beat relegation bound Leeds 1-0 at home. Don't act like they are suddenly back now

Potter is genuinely the worst manager I've seen in 30 years, totally out of depth and doesn't have that winning mindset. Perhaps a bad result tonight will finally be enough to get rid of him.

I'm looking forward to see what Chelsea can do here. What a big game for Potter.

I honestly think Potter makes it through the season and gets a preseason with his team. But if he struggles out the gate, he is done
I think he should get a chance next season. I've been watching Chelsea as a neutral since the transfer window and they've been very unlucky not to score a lot more.

They looked pretty good in the first half, with the exception of Sterling who was probably the worst player on the field up until his goal.

He needs to have a pre season to see what he actually has on his squad. Ownership just keeps bringing random players into the squad without any chance to figure out what he actually has in his squad. 5-6 games into a new season would be enough time to figure out how good he actually is since they would not only have a preseason, but a chance to revamp the squad
