Speaking about bottling.

As you may know FC Bayern is currently 1st in Bundesliga and Dortmund is 2nd, just 2 points behind them.

Yesterday Bayern played against Hoffenheim and Dortmund against Stuttgart.
Bayern was leading for most of the game 1:0 but Hoffenheim scored the 1:1 and the game ended in a draw. So Dortmund winninig against Stuttgart who are battling against being relegated to 2nd Bundesliga would mean they draw even with Bayern.

Did Dortmund win?
Well, they were leading 2:0 and Stuttgart saw an early red card but somehow Stuttgart managed to score the 2:2 late in the game. In the 92th minute Dortmund scored the 3:2.

So did Dortmund win?
lol of coure not. Stuttgart scored the 3:3 in the 97th minute.

People in Germany can't complain about Bayern's domination when their opponents are Uber incompetent.

yeah league is probably over
Now you have to win instead of draw in 10 days. Not an easy task but that is still the crucial game. Also, both City and Arsenal still have to play Brighton. Arsenal at home while City are visitors. Not an easy three points for either team, De Zerbi has them playing well atm. That Asian guy is one of the better dribblers in the premier league.

Arsenal still have to play Chelsea (which who knows how that will go since that could be the one game Chelsea decide to play well) and have to go to Newcastle. The only hope right now is that City advance in the FA cup and the Champions League so that they could potentially drop points at Fulham and Everton. Maybe Brentford decides to help out on the last day too

Brentfords kind of dropped off a bit now so wouldnt expect any miracles from them

Big to see Hammers not just retreat into their shell after getting pounded at the start of a game at least

It's starting to look like there's a good chance Messi will return to Barcelona, play for another year or two, then retire the undisputed goat. The only blemish on his career are the years he wasted at PSG.

I had put Napoli reaching the final on my UCL Bracket but went and changed to Milan, hopefully I won't regret it.
Just to give you one last update before the game, Osimhen is back but Anguissa and Kim are suspended due to yellow card accumulation. I think it's pretty close to 50/50.
Going to be another blemish on their former president Bartomeu for putting them in the financial situation that lost messi
Their financial situation is made even funnier by the fact that they have a good academy. They don't need to spend a ton of money but they do anyway.

I watched the Napoli vs Verona highlights and saw him there. I still trust Milan can defeat them.

Milan will park the bus and try to hit Leao on counter attacks. I think they will advance as well.

Edit to avoid doublepost: Lampard is going with the Allegri formation against Madrid :story: good luck to him with that

Napoli massacring Milan. Milan gets a penalty. Giroud misses it.
70% possession doesn't mean much with no final product. Milan scored before halftime (on a counter attack through Leao, just as predicted). It's over

Even though Napoli have looked great this season, this is the first time they've ever been in a quarterfinal. Milan otoh have won the champions league 7 times.

I'm happy and livid at the same time. Happy because Milan have exposed Napoli. Livid because we wouldn't be fighting for top 4 if Mike Maignan didn't injured and we didn't have Romanian Karius as his back-up.

Ronaldo seems to be enjoying himself in Saudi Arabia

Muzzies are calling for him to be expelled from Saudi Arabia for this

(he grabbed his crotch....during the holy month of Ramadan no less)

I can't wait until he retires and becomes a full fledged lolcow.

He's currently in second place, along with the other no names on his team

I hope Bayern pull their finger out of their arse and annihilate City tonight.

There. I said it.
Not a chance. I hope they lose because it gives so many cooler outcomes.

-City have to concentrate on the FA cup, Premier League, and Champions League. Champions League being the biggest and it might mean they still slip up the premier league while having Guardiola's luck in the Champions League.
-Another rematch between Madrid and City in the semis
-Bayern deciding to lose out on a ton of money with Nagelsmann only to go crashing out of both the Champions League and DFB Pokal leaving them with a title fight. Meaning they paid a bunch of money to swap managers and get (at worst) the same results for the season
