Women’s World Cup? 🤣
I am watching to actively root against the US women's team. Those spoiled lesbian brats got a sweet deal that guaranteed payments and therefore a spot on call ups for every game instead of what the men get where its more money but based on appearance so you actually need merit to get called up. Then they bitched and sued for "equal pay" despite having zero standing to do so and lost. Then US Soccer caved and gave them pay. I hope they lose in the group stage so I can stop caring about the walking liability of Megan Rapinoe and her amazing ability to lose the ball every time she gets it and never play defense. But boy can she take a penalty because nobody else can fucking do that

Women’s World Cup? 🤣
Wait, it's already begun?
I care so little about it that I didn't even check when it was supposed to start. This despite the local media's active efforts to make it seem just as important as the men's World Cup.

I'm not waking up at fucking 3 in the morning to watch a match between two teams that even the local Sunday leaguers can beat.

Pulisic has officially left Chelsea for AC Milan. Not sure he fits on Milan considering they already have Leo playing on the left wing but its probably better than playing at Chelsea.

Fellow USMNT player Yunus Musah is apparently going to AC Milan, Fulham, and West Ham. Idk how this works out but one of them might get him.

And topping off the fun USMNT news, Brenden Aaronson has been loaned out to Union Berlin. Since all they do is run and defend, he might be right at home

As a follow up to my earlier post Van Der Sar has been described as being in a stable, but serious, condition, which is good to hear.

Also, England just beat Spain to win the Euro Under-21s Championship. The GK, Trafford, who just signed for Burnley, capped off a killer tournament with a penalty double save in the 99th minute. England finished the tournament with a perfect 6-0-0 record with 6 cleansheets. Very much looking forward to seeing how Trafford handles the Premiership next season.

And the English will celebrate like anyone gives a shit about U21’s.

Megan Rapinoe will retire at the end of the season.

United States forward Megan Rapinoe announced Saturday that she will retire from professional soccer at the conclusion of the 2023 National Women's Soccer League season.

The 11-year league veteran and U.S. women's national team standout will play her final regular-season match at Seattle's Lumen Field on Oct. 6 against the Washington Spirit.
Could we said then it's not a big loss?

No. It starts July 20th. Come watch an exciting game between Costa Rica and Zambia. Perhaps there will be another game where one of the women just grab the ball with their hands, hold onto it for 5 seconds, drop it, and everyone just plays on like nothing is wrong
This reminded me that in the one women's footy match I attended, there was a throw-in attempt that resulted in another throw-in... About three meters away from where the first throw-in was tossed.

Not even kids miss throw-ins like that, holy shit.

What was that experiment they did where the US national women’s team lost to some random U13’s boys team?

This one?
It was this one. Ruined any chance of them doing the girl power bullshit

Oh no, now who will take all the penalties and turn the ball over every time they touch it?

When you don't win anything, a youth team victory seems amazing

I would say it's a good sign but the last time the U21s reached a final they lost to Germany and six of their players went on to play for Sunderland including Adam Johnson.

Never trust international youth results I say.

The Gold Cup can be pretty fun. The USA v Canada QF last night became very entertaining in the 87th minute. I loved Matt Turner's penalty saves.
