Grealish was exactly 100mil. I don't think there was any add ons to the deal. So this does make Rice the most expensive, if only by a little (since I am guessing some of these add ons are simple things like game time that will almost certainly be met).

Why haven't liverpool sold him? Its gotta be that they are looking to sell Fabinho. Take a transfer fee for one of those 2 and get another midfielder into the club

Neither of them are irreplaceable IMO, though I feel Henderson has a more personal connection to the club. I would sell both, buy a good midfielder and then promote some youngster.

Over a 2 year plan, I would do that. I just don't think losing both of them at once would be the best option. But I would sell Fabinho right now and promote that youngster. Then sell Henderson next season and buy another midfielder to get a solid midfielder for the next few years. Just don't know why they aren't letting Fabinho get his cash grab in Saudi

Liverpool is open to selling Henderson but the Saudi club that is trying to buy him only has a 13 million pound transfer budget. Liverpool values him at 20 million pounds.
Reports are saying that Fabinho will most likely be sold this week for 40 million pounds.

Yeah so then the play is to just sell Fabinho and tell the Saudi's to pound sand (there's plenty of it). You want to at least keep one experience head in that dressing room who can help transition over the new squad. And if you lose Henderson for 5 mil next year, so what?
