Reports in our press are that Inter is in touch with Bayern bc they want Sommer and that Bayern is open to let him go.
I think they couldn't afford what Villa wanted for Martinez. Bayern makes sense, since Neuer is coming back and will push out the other keepers.

If Brazil doesn't win this shit, they'll never win it ever.
The US team is shit so this is the year to win it. I think in 4 years, the European teams will be too good

Some fun little updates for everyone

United have agreed to a 72 million pound deal for Hojland from Atalanta. Which means theres a few players going out the door soon besides Elanga

Dembele has been bought by PSG. There is a 55 million euro release clause in his contract and if Barca got anywhere near that amount then I would be shocked. Would certainly help with some of their financial problems. If they sell Eric Garcia in this window as well, I will take back everything I said about them being financial idiots because no way in hell did I think they could sell those 2 players and get a bunch of money back

Bayern wanted Raya from Brentford... Via loan. Lol. Now Arsenal have swooped in and likely to be getting him. Frankly the sooner this sale is done the better.

Subject of the Bee's. Happy with the transfers thus far. Pre-Season tour in America showed we just don't fucking care with a few of the academy lads playing. Hopefully this weekends friendly with Lille is a bit more inspired.

Matt turner is supposedly on his way to Forest to make this move happen.

Axel Disasi has moved to Chelsea from Monaco

Demarai Gray is potentially on his way to Fulham but Everton want a replacement first

Bayern are looking to get Yassine Bounou from Sevilla but trying to negotiate down from 20 mil

25 mil in valuation is all that is separating Kane from going to Germany

Fabinho completed his move to Al-Ittihad

Stephy Mavididi has moved to Leicester City from Montpellier

Inter have made an offer of somewhere from 20-22 million for Scamacca from West Ham

Sadio Mane to Al Nassr for 24 million pounds with a potential 34 million a year salary

Get ready for some excitement. This week, The Championship, League One, League Two, The community shield, Scottish Prem, Scottish Championship, League One, and League two start this week

Perfection.

I hope this transfer is rushed, because Brentford need to reinvest that cash fast. Especially as the Canos deal to Valencia is taking forever.
That and Austin Trusty may be going to Sheffield soon. Would be pretty solid business to get both those deals out for Arsenal as they would have made a profit on both and would have cash incoming during this transfer window. Might help push for a January transfer when needed

And Brazil is out of the Women's World Cup in the group phase.
All the demands for respect, the progressive bullshit, the media forcing its matches, the national holidays... All for a sudden elimination by the feet of freaking Jamaica.

Lol, lmao, HUEHUEHUE.

I was pissed at Inter versus River Plate yesterday by being dominated by them and not getting to attack but this game made me promisse that I will never watch women's footy ever again.

They were attacking all the time, couldn't barely made a shot to the area, being blocked, losing passes, it was a shit show, thr coach was waiting a miracle to sub some new players, it was infuriating to watch such incompetence. It made me seethe not at the result of the game but their performance, they are shit, women's football is shit, and the worst is: this was thw country's best, imagine the national league level. Those who support this sport should be ashamed at how fucking straight up faced liars they are at selling the sport for others.

Fuck this shit sport.

Women's football has never been good and all this world cup does is display how awful they are at even the basics of football. The only reason this shit gets televised is because woke culture thinks women can contribute just as much to the game as men whilst putting out shit performances that are on-par with the special Olympics.

Seems Raya to Arsenal is finally happening. Last four years they have been sniffing around for this guy. Hell they even took our GK coaching staff in advance the season prior. I doubt Brentford will get the £40mil they desire, but it's better than fucking Bayern's "lol loan" approach.

Anytime Bayern come sniffing around, you best run. They swipe players for a cheap amount. They came into Monchengladbach for Yann Sommer and Monchengladbach had to replace him for the same amount. Part of the reason Bayern dominate Germany is the fact that all the players they swipe from the other German teams are gotten for cheap

I typically expect the Italian clubs to do the whole "lol loan and maybe buy" deal. Not the fucking German Giants. Seems Arsenal is gonna get him for around £25/30mil.

Italian clubs are a hit or miss with those loans to totally buy deals. If the club is in decent financial shape and the player is doing fine, then its a buy. Otherwise they will weasel their way out of the deal.

Bayern have actually done this loan to lol maybe buy deal a few times in the past. Outside of Cancelo, there was also Coutinho, Perisic, and James Rodriguez.

My team, Newport County, start away at Accrington (who are they?) tomorrow after an indifferent pre-season - losing 8-0 to Bristol City wasn't exactly wonderful.

Charlton at home next Tuesday in the League Cup and then Doncaster at home a week tomorrow.

Going to be a tough season, but I think we'll finish around mid-table.
