Neal Maupay to Brentford on loan from Everton
Signed him purely to shithouse Arsenal. With all our options either rejecting us or outright moving to rivals (Johnson to Spurs for example) I can see why Frank opt for a safe talent investment he knows well. Brentford never wanted to sell Maupay to Brighton and his entire development was fucked when he left Griffin Park. Going from a natural 9 to just an unnatural fit in the world of Football. Hopefully we get him back on track.

Meanwhile Nottingham Forest signing 7 names (atop of the 20+ last season) makes me question how little a say Steve Cooper gets with these transfers. So many mercenaries coming into Forest and the results aren't anything to write home about. They are lucky a few other teams are in worse positions than them because they could easily suffer a QPR / Cardiff like fate if they went down.

Lets get rid of some of the ending transfers that happened

Jamal Lowe to Swansea on loan from Bournemouth

Jaiden Anthony to Leeds from Bournemouth on loan. That's the other direction to Sinisterra. Probably a straight up swap that frees up some wage bills for Leeds

Maupay is the new number 7 at Brentford

Vlachodimos to Forest from Benfica

Tom Cannon to Leicester from Everton for 7.5 mil. Everton get a sell on clause as well

Timothee Pembele to Sunderland from PSG

Sangare from PSV to Forest was for 35 mil

Adil Aouchiche to Sunderland from Lorient

Gbamin has had his contract terminated by Everton

Origi to Forest is a season long loan from AC Milan

Iwobe to Fulham from Everton. Price was 22 mil

I have no idea what Forest's strategy is. They are the more blatant violation of FFP compared to Chelsea. Can't remember how many of their players left over the summer but if its only a few, they should have a roster of 50 by now

Nice have terminated Kasper Schmeichel's contract. He is now a free agent
Thomas Strakosha has been a massive dud for Brentford. Constantly injured and recently been taking issue with his use by management / not giving him a chance when Raya departed. He's been absent from the team-sheet for a while now. Didn't even play our cup tie with Newport. Considering the Danish connection, I'd not be upset at having Schmeichel as a backup keeper and letting the Albanian go elsewhere.

Considering how Wolves are suffering this window with FFP rules, I am excited to see what sort of fire-sale they'll produce in two seasons time (assuming they can stay up)

Problem is that Schmeichel struggled at Nice. Like really badly. I don't know if you can rely on him anymore

Fire sales usually include players people want. Outside of maybe a few players, nobody else is going to be desired when they have to sell everyone off in 2 years due to relegation

Remember Hertha BSC? The club from Berlin who started a few years ago an image attack to become the "big city club" and then got an investor who poured nearly 300 millions into the club and then got ousted bc he had too many slapfights with the club presidents and it got uncovered that he used an Israeli marketing agency to start a literal smear campaign against the ex-club president and then the club got relegated to 2. Bundesliga last season?

We are 5 games into 2nd Bundesliga season and so far Hertha BSC has astonishing 1 win and 4 loses with 9:11 goals ranked 16th. They scored 5 of their own goals in the match they won which means in the other 4 games they scored on average 1 goal per game.

They played today against Magdeburg. Hertha got the lead f o u r times and yet they still lost 6:4 in the end.

Sheffield is aware this is Football and not Rugby with these tackles? If they cannot even pick off stragglers like Everton who blew every chance possible, what teams are they going to get points from? Honestly the worst of the three teams promoted because they abused FFP to the breaking point of possible point deductions. Least with Luton you get a funny stadium and an underdog story for neutrals.

Bayern played Borussia Mönchengladbach today, their nemesis over the last 12 season. No other team has beaten Bayern that often like Gladbach did. The only team with a positive win rate against Bayern.

It took Gladbach one corner to score the 1:0.
It took Bayern s i x t e e n corners to make one count.

Bayern had ~80% possession and they had to take Kane off and bring in De Light in the 90th minute to hold the 2:1 against Gladbach.

Tuchel won't last til christmas.

What has Chelsea spent in the past few windows? I’ve heard something close to £1B. FFP rules aside, how are they still so shit? Is this is a proper rebuild that’s going to take a few years considering they bought mostly players under 25? Newcastle managed to do it in one window, albeit with blood money but didn’t spend anywhere close to that. I’m calling it now, Chelsea bottom half of the table.

His celebration when united score feel forced too, what an odd specimen
I love his rants about United's board and transfer policy. It's pure retardation in its finest.

Take this for example-

Yes Ten Hag didn't buy Sancho. He knew this was going to be a tough player coming into the job and took it anyways. How the fuck is the board supposed to ship Sancho off to another club? His current cost is 51 million euros, so good luck getting a club to agree to that. Otherwise you have to eat the loss of whatever fee you get - that 51 million they still have. Second, he has to agree to the fucking deal. He is making 300k a week, why the fuck would he give that up to go play for fucking Crystal Palace for 100k a week or Dortmund for 20k a week? That took me about 30 seconds of looking up a transfer price, a date the transfer happened, and contract length to realize why they can't just "get rid of him" and this retard who rants on youtube for a living couldn't be bothered to look that up for a scripted video.

As an Arsenal fan (not going to go over all the other managers he just brings up as not being in this position because its too long of a rant to cover this), Ozil wasn't instantly gotten rid of like he says. That was a long, drawn out process of getting Ozil to leave. Aubameyang was another one that took a bit of time but we convinced Barca to take him in what I am personally calling, the revenge of Cesc. Both times, there were clubs who were there to take these players at a fee that wouldn't give us an instant loss and were able to convince players to leave Arsenal to play for them. Nobody is doing that for fucking Sancho.

He also makes an off comment about Pogba and Mourinho which I am pretty sure was the same issue here with not being able to actually offload him without taking a massive loss on their books.

Finally he brings up Maguire, McTominay, Sancho, and Van de Beek as players to get rid of. So lets break down the other 3 since Sancho was covered.

Maguire was FUCKING SOLD to West Ham. He REFUSED TO SIGN THE CONTRACT WITH WEST HAM. What the fuck does this retard want from the board? I know the UK sucks ass but they haven't fallen off completely where they can force someone to sign a contract they don't want to sign. You are stuck with just keeping Maguire on until his contract runs out and not signing him to a new one.

McTominay was rumored to be going to half of fucking europe this window but as far as anyone is aware, no offers came in for him. Can't do much for a club that's already in a losing position unless you go to a club and offer him. And at that point, you are basically going to a club and paying them to take the player off your hands.

Same as McTominay, Van de Beek was offered to so many fucking clubs across Europe and to my understanding, still might be going to Galatasaray. You can't just offload him to a club that doesn't want him for a price you made up in your head. None of this works like that.

Goldbridge being an idiot Manchester United fan gives me life. He is the stereotypical United fan and their stupidity will keep their club being shit for years to come

At least, for Maguire he was holding out for a payoff from the club. Allegedly his contract said he is entitled to his remaining wages if he leaves (if true, another Woodward masterclass).
Van de Beek even had a loan organised with a french team (Lorient i think) but refused to even speak to them until like a few hours before deadline where they promptly told him to fuck off

Something about that club fosters cancer personalities. Erik Ten Excuses doesn't seem to be helping either

Goldbridge is a streamer, in other words an ebeggar. Modern clownworld elevates these people to being noteworthy, but they are all useless sacks of shit, or they wouldn't have ended up leeching donations online. Talksport bringing him into the fold is one of the more embarrassing things they've done which is saying something. Remember when he said on there that he wanted the Qataris to buy Man Utd so they could collude with PSG to bring Neymar in? Fucking retarded on so many levels.

To be fair to Ten Hag, the Utd shitshow is the result of many years of shit management, including overpaying for absolute dross and having no standards for them. It was never going to be possible to clear out the deadwood quickly when they're on such huge contracts. He sent Sancho to a private tutoring camp in the Netherlands to help him get his career back on track, and it turns out he's still a shitter. Spoilt kids are hard to unspoil, and when they're also rich it's impossible.
In the end, the proof will be in the pudding, he had a decent first year with winning a minor trophy and an okay league result, we'll see how this one ends up.
