Dictator Maobappe getting booed at the Bernabeu lol. This is the natural end result of a player's career there no matter what you've done at that club. The only thing that ever matters there is what have you done for them today. His and PSG's trajectory since he's left cannot have been any more polar opposite. PSG, the French farmers, go on to become the best team in the world on their way to possibly winning their second consecutive CL led by their current Balon d'Or holder...

...VARdrid on the other hand are currently wrapping up their 2nd trophyless season after dominating world football for the last decade+, are in turmoil week after week because they employ babies from top to bottom, their President is holding press conferences crying about corruption, their current babysitter in charge is also trying to claim that Real are victims of corruption, and their only bright spot this season is currently getting booed and already seems to be sick of it all lol.

Couldn't have happened to a nicer club.

Well that was bullshit in the end

I missed most of the first half but I heard Hearts controlled the game and had more chances at the halfway point?

If so, how fucking stupid of McInnes to come out in the second half and play defensive with 5 at the back against Celtic, at Celtic Park. You always knew Celtic would attack and leave counter attacking possibilities open, and would most likely score another goal. It's fine if the title is on the line on the final day against Livingston and all you need is a draw, you could probably score a goal in the 1st minute and see out the rest of the game in a defensive shape. What a cowardly decision on his behalf. He's let himself, Hearts, and world football down. That was the game to be brave in, not show your fucking tummy. I'm so bitterly disappointed. I was hoping this would be consolation at least after Millwall failed to go up. What a shit way to end such a great season of football.

Burger opinion: Hearts looked like dogshit for most of the game and deserved to lose. They should still be on the upswing as a club though which is good, they'll need to be. It took chaos at Rangers and Celtic for them to be where they are and clearly looked like they couldn't handle it at the end. I look forward to further improvement from them. They need to move immediately to shake the stank off from bottling things so badly this season and continue improving without looking back.

That said, goddamn even to my retarded ass Celtic looks like a dogshit club. Getting an insane amount of calls in your favor (across somehow both your games and your title challengers games) and then invading the pitch before the game is over and even going after opposing players. Fuck them, Scottish football badly needs a shaking up because that shit was pathetic.

The last matchday in Bundesliga just ended.

Stuttgart, Hoffenheim and Leverkusen were fighting for the last Champions League spot. Hoffenheim got wrecked by Freiburg while Leverkusen could only get a draw against Hamburg and Stuttgart drawing against Frankfurt which means Stuttgart got the better end.

Freiburg, Frankfurt and Augsburg were fighting over the Conference League spot. Freiburg wrecked Hoffenheim so it didn't matter how the other teams would perform. Frankfurt nearly went down against Stuttgart but got a last minute equalizer (honestly, Stuttgart would have deserved the win. Frankfurt was, once again, shit). Augsburg played against Union Berlin and got wrecked 0:4. But they won't be to sad about missing the international competition bc after the first half of the season they were close to getting relegated so huge turn around in the second half of the season for them.

For the relegation fight we did not get the end everbody -except those wankers in Wolfsburg- was rooting for.

That was the situation before:
Wolfsburg and St. Pauli were facing each other while Heidenheim played against Mainz.
Heidenheim needed to win while they needed the other two teams to draw or else Heidenheim would get relegated.
Whoever would win in the other match would jump on 16th and get another shot at staying in Bundesliga later while the loser would go down. A draw would mean Wolfsburg would be safe as long as Heidenheim wouldn't win.

Heidenheim lost against Mainz 0:2 and St. Pauli lost to Wolfsburg 1:3 which means that Wolfsburg is 16th, Heidenheim 17th and St. Pauli being 18th.

Wolfsburg will face the 3rd ranked team (at the moment Hannover 96) of 2. Bundesliga in 2 weeks.
2. Bundesliga has their last matchday tomorrow.

A mid season found a disappointing end.

So some updates on actual excitement at the end of the season that you might not see.

In Spain, the gap between 19th and 8th is only 6 points with 2 games to go. Only 1 team has been confirmed relegated and I don't think we will know the other 2 teams until next week unless 2 of the following 3 teams lose tomorrow between Elche, Mallorca, and Levante while Alaves and Girona win with Sevilla, Valencia, Espanyol, and Osasuna get a point. On the other side, all the Champions League spots are taken but not every European spot is taken. Celta are 1 point away from qualifying for Europe and have a 2 point gap over Getafe for the Europa League while Real Sociedad are in 8th but qualified for Europea League through the cup. Games to watch tomorrow since everyone plays at the same time

Real Betis vs Levante
Alaves vs Rayo Vallecano
Girona vs Elche
Getafe vs Osasuna
Celta vs Sevilla
Espanyol vs Real Sociedad

In Poland, Lech Poznan has won the league thanks to winning on the second to last game day of the season. Only 1 team is confirmed relegated. 16th through 8th place is separated by 6 points with 1-2 more gamedays left. Poland's league has been insane this season. To understand how insane this is, if Lech Poznan win their final game of the season, they would have equal points total with VFB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga while last place Bruk-Bet still have 2 games to go but if they got no points, they would be a point behind Wolfsburg. The parody is insane

Today is the last matchday in 2. Bundesliga.

Schalke is already promoted while we have three teams fighting for 2nd place (direct promotion to Bundesliga) and 3rd place (2 promotion matches against Wolfsburg) who all have the same amount of points.

Elversberg is going to play Preußen Münster who are already relegated back to 3. Bundesliga.
Hannover 96 is going to play Nuremberg who are in somewhere in the no man's land of the table.
Paderborn is going to play Darmstadt who have nothing to gain anymore.

As mentioned Preußen Münster has been relegated already while it looks dire for Greuther Fürth on the one hand. On the other hand even Madgeburg could still get down if they don't tie at least and the rest wins their matches.

The matches are:
Fürth - Düsseldorf
Bielefeld - Hertha Berlin
Braunschweig - Schalke
Dresden - Kiel
Magdeburg - Kaiserlautern

So Fürth vs Düsseldorf will be the game to watch. It's a must win for Fürth while the need Bielefeld to shit the bed. Fürth's offensive has been completely useless tho in the last few matches. Düsseldorf beat Elversberg last weekend but they better win this macth too or else they also have to bet on Bielefeld shitting the bed. A tie will send Fürth down to 3. Bundesliga which would rob us of the Franconian derby, the oldest derby in German football.

Braunschweig are going to face Schalke who have already checked out of the league and are on drinking bender since securing the promotion.

All of Hertha Berlins latest wins have been against bottom tier teams so Braunschweig better watches out.

Kiel and Kaiserslautern have nothing to play for anymore so Dresden and Magdeburg should have the best chances to not get sucked into the drama.

Need both Chelsea and Everton to roll Spurs now so we can actually see them down. Will never forgive Villa for gifting them 3 points

It's almost ogre, what a lame season this has been

Especially after they drummed Liverpool 4 - 2.

Today is the official announcement of Brazil's squad for the World Cup, and it will be the most-watched ever, because the big story around it is about whether Ancelotti will call Neymar for the roster.

It's really been the talk down here about whether our 30-something wunderkind deserves to play one more World Cup. Given his performances since coming back to Santos have been, well, not particularly good, some may argue why he is in consideration at all. But his teammates in the NT all vouch for him, and Carletto himself stated he is strongly considering calling him, but the final answer will be given today at 4pm ET.

But for real, would you call the main player of a team who gets trounced at home like this?
