Games you have to 100% if you're replaying it - When just getting to the end isn't enough

Got any games that you like to play where you just have to get everything before you beat it again? I mostly do this for platformers since they tend to be relatively straightforward to 100% and give you a nice reward for doing so, whether that be extra abilities or bonus levels.

To name a few, if I'm playing Klonoa again, I'm rescuing all the Phanotmiles for that Extra Vision. Gotta get all the super emeralds for S3&K if want to get to Doomsday Zone. And I'll be damned if I play the Spyro trilogy and don't get all the gems, orbs, and baby dragons. Shit just don't feel right if I don't do that.

I never 100% games, it removes all the fun and makes it a chore.
Never ever? What about lore heavy games? I liked playing Borderlands 2 because there was a lot of lore I missed through the first play through, plus it was fun to kill enemies at a higher level and with more skill than I did during the first time I beat the game. Same with Fallout New Vegas, though I still haven't completed that game yet.

I haven't completed Borderlands 2 but I have completed Fallout New Vegas on XBOX, best dlc Dead Money obviously but it's real fun to replay over and over.

I get that for a particularly long game, but not even for a short and sweet game or old school collect-a-thon? Surely there's something you played that's worth the effort

I'm the same way with platformers, Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, and DK 64.
That fucking beetle race in DK64. And Beaver Bother. And that mechanical fish. So many bad parts in that game for me to ever 101% it again. Watching DSP suffer through it 101% was pure joy, though. By far the best TIHYDP, imo.

Any pikmin game but 2 especially. If you don't have the doomsday apparatus that means you are weak willed.

GTA. It's not enough to beat the story, now if you want your money's worth, do everything that the game provided.

I stopped playing BL2 after I maxed out my favorite player (Zer0), I haven't played it in years but thinking about playing it again after seeing my cousin playing BL3.

I really want to beat Fallout New Vegas, I only stopped playing it because it kept crashing (this was on my brother's old the Play Station 3 lol) and I eventually gave up. Now that I have an xbox tho I suppose I could start over and try again.

My fav character used to be Krieg until I realized how trash he was so then I switched to the obvious superior and self-insert character of Salvador (literally me).

I was able to run New Vegas on windows 10 but windows 11 is shit for it but SOMEHOW Fallout 3 works fine. I'm trying to get all the steam achievements and only have 66/75. Xbox should be able to run it if you have the Xbox 360 disc, but if I remember online store has it for an outrageous hundred dollars.
Any Ratchet & Clank game. All though I haven't replayed any in over 10 years.
Size Matters on the PSP was the only Rachet and Clank game I played.
