He dislikes the NRA and had been calling them out on being lazy last year(?) - it was a small shitfest that included YouTube personalities like Hickok45 and lots of lesser channels trying to gain popularity.
Of course, this drew the ire of NRA members which led to him freaking out for a few months.

Yeah, This reddit thread has some links, but one thing to note is when this story broke, it wasn't 'bounty to deplatform me' it was literally 'they're gonna kill me'. What a fuckin' ride that was.

I actually live near both Ian and Karl and have met both outside of gun shit. Ian isn't bad, like, he's obviously not great in dealing with people and comes off a little weird, but he's fine. I was wearing an old squadron golf shirt when we met and he immediately knew what it meant and we talked airplanes for a minute and I told him I liked his youtube.

Karl is an insifferable douche and genuinely unlikable. Plus a lot of the Tombstone historians will absolutely rage for hours on how fucking stupid his "Special one on one" tours of Tombstone are.

Plus his entire video on the Miracle valley shootout is factually incorrect according to the 4 guys I know who were police officers during said shoot out.

I had always heard from a few people who knew/met him before he really got famous that Ian was a bit of a standoffish cunt as well. I mean it's anecdotal but still came from a several people saying the same thing.

Nah, he's just impersonable, which he kinda needs to be, in order to fill the niche that his content does.

The gun world is populated by some really strange people, and a lot of them will absolutely show you the door before showing off their rare firearm, if even the slightest thing seems off.

He's all business, and that puts a lot of people off too, because they get personally invested in content creators.

Yes but like I said, this was before people gave a shit about him. Basically I was told he's a stand offish weirdo off the grid cunt, and honestly from seeing videos from him on and off over the years I can believe it. Especially that one he did with Vickers.

He's from Tombstone, it's normal for them. An ex of mine knew him from high school and 80% of her graduating class fits the description

IWI recently dropped a limited number of Galil Ace variants in the 5.45x39mm chambering. Specifically they produced a total run of 545 rifles and 545 pistols (with brace). One of my co-workers is a patreon to MAC and said Copper Custom was getting a portion of them and MAC informed patreon members first when Copper Custom released them for sale. A few days later I saw a video on YouTube about the 5.45 variants from MAC. So I am sure there is still a relationship there.

I do recall the dark web hit threat during the whole NRA shitshow that was hilarious! Considering how the NRA is ran, I doubt Wayne LaCuck Pierre would cough up the cash to have someone even threatened, let alone dealt with. Might take away from the fucker‘s lavish life style.
