When you consider the weird parasocial followings a lot of guntubers attract on places like pReddit, it's not that surprising that he'd come here. I'd rather be called a fat faggot by a salty old man who knows his guns than called "daddy" by a 32 year old sex pervert whose only firearm is a poverty-spec AR with "trans rights" written on it in sparkly nail polish.

given the prognosis, it's amazing he's able to get up and around at all. I think we can understand why he suggested that the video a couple weeks ago might be the last we see of him in that format. It's brutal what cancer does to someone at the end.

Yeah. It's gotta be hell for his loved ones. I went through it with my mother a few yeas ago. Some cancers, by the end, you don't even feel sad when they die. It's a relief that it's finally over. It really fucks up the whole mourning cycle.

I feel the same, I think it's amazing that a guy who has to deal with a ton of crap can still make a good video when he had no experience at all.

It's also telling how bad he looks compared to Paul, Paul's lifetime of pumping iron payed off, he's still alive despite everyone saying he would have croaked by December now.

I think he's still a current cop, I don't think I've ever heard any mention of him being retired.

I'll keep watching if the production crew boomer wrangles him. It's pretty clear Roy uploaded the last couple videos on his own, or with minimal input from the old production crew. They need to get him a lapel mic setup, fix the acoustics in his boomer cave (or explain to him why Paul recorded 99% of his videos outdoors), make him write a script, and more importantly: have an editor edit and release the final product. The transition cuts were straight out of the 90s and he repeated his talking points, but it seemed like it was because he forgot he said it earlier and not for emphasis like when Paul repeated himself.
My other gripe is that he has a lifetime of experience that is different than Paul's, but his first video was the pistol equivalent of "hey did you guys know you can shoot .38 special in revolvers chambered in .357 magnum?!" You're an Oregon cop with decades of experience, tell us what homeless crackheads use to shoot each other with, or tell us what is most effective at removing homeless crackheads, don't tell us about fuddlore and broscience.

You should watch some of Paul's early content he's been uploading for 10 years at least give it time roy will find his way he's not gonna just pick up where Paul left off

Why are so many guntubers really cringy or just fucking insane? Wranglerstar and karl are the two big ones but in general so many of them have low iq boomer takes that can just be boiled down to: HERE'S WHY YOU NEED TO SPEND $10K ON THIS AR PLATFORM OR THE TRANNIES WILL BREAK INTO YOUR HOME AND RAPE YOU AND YOUR WHITE KIDS WITH A PACK OF NIGGERS? It's a shame that there aren't many people like Paul or Ian out there. Also realistically you won't be in a tactical shoot out with the cartels. You will be at most killing some teenagers who broke in your home with a shotgun. You still need to be prepared to know what you're doing, but so much gun shit is this cringe fantasy stuff that will never happen to the average person.

The amount of people I meet who can't hit anything for shit but have spent thousands on ARs and practice quick drawing all the time is really pathetic.

I'm trying to build my first AR-15 using as cheap and basic parts as possible (I'm going for a basic ar build with basic military spec parts to build the basic ar15 that everyone in the world has except I need mine to be ambidextrous). If had a nickel for the amount of people who tell me to go spend an ungodly amount of money on sites or competition, grade barrels or other crap when all I want is a simple AR-15. I could probably buy this entire website out from null.
