The second target kind of does and I think he's just using a big target. Some of those holes do look like the more jagged holes .45 ball will tear in a target, just zoomed out.

Taking a closer look, you may be right. I usually only shoot targets with a cardboard backing, so might be altering my perception. Definitely looks like some keyholing though.

I can't really tell without something for scale. Ball doesn't always make clean holes so I'll have to give the creep the benefit of the doubt. Richard Ramirez did horrible things to lots of people with just a shitty little Saturday Night Special .22 though, so a zinc blowback "1911" is all Vaush needs.

Not keyholes; he just didn't have the targets tacked down & the breeze lifted the bottom, and/or they were attached to something not completely vertical. Ergo, the rounds hit paper at a slight angle before punching through, .45 ball makes it worse.

Karl actually put out a firearm related video, specifically about his VZ.58 and the changes he has made to it.

Some people are calling him a bubba over him modifying it but all he really did was replace a broken pistol grip and add an optics rail to it.

Personally don't care about the optics rail since it's basically an improvement and would have been done anyway with a proprietary mount, the more pressing issue is the handguards being absolutely terrible in regards to the lack of heat distribution and burning the shit out of you. The stock is also meant for manlets, but I suppose it helps the gamer crowd with their attempted isosceles stance on the clock.

That's actually a video about guns, and a good one, I'm very pleasantly surprised, and it had some interesting information. I never knew about the options for aperture sights and a proper bolt-release, that makes the Vz.58, already a cool rifle, even cooler. Stuff like this is exactly what I subscribed to the channel for once upon a time.

Also, fuck people screeching about bubba when it comes to practical additions/changes to guns, if it's not done in a shed by a drunk with a hacksaw and angle grinder, and it's reasonably reversible, it's all good to me.

All shitposting aside, C&Rsenal is pretty high up there when it comes to guntubers. He loses points for being niche - he can't help it, he didn't expect so many guns to have been used during WW1 - but they have genuine passion for what they do and the amount of work Othias does makes me feel like a lazy retard which I am.

Their trap series with stereotypical Carolinian guy is great.

Been following the WWSD rifle cult. Phagan keeps getting frustrated with people posting pictures of poor quality WWSD work on the InRangeTv subreddit.

Apparently the way this flat is milled is "normal" and exists on a large portion of the receivers. Looks like a DIY project with a hand sander.

Other than cosmetic, 90% of the issues seem to be related to the safety where people are finding they have a weak detent or too strong of a detent. You're supposed to stretch the detent spring 1/8" to get it to work properly. Stretching a spring past the resting position isn't really a robust solution IMO.

That is a mold issue. Either they have fill problems or mold manufacturing issues. Do we know what shop they worked with to get this done? Cause there is a world of difference between machining a part and the engineering that goes into mold design.

Ironic considering one of the major claims from Ian and Cucksarda is the superior quality of modern polymer. I don't care about the argument but it's funny that their godly "inRange approved" polymer receivers have widespread manufacturing defects.
