In the grander scheme of things, this thread doesn't do anything in one direction or another for the guntube space no matter how hard you want to alog. This site is still too off the beaten path for Joe Normalman and this thread is way too niche and basically no SEO is allowed to let you come here through a casual Google search. Even then, we mostly just point and laugh and then move to the next subject relatively quickly. The majority of alogs will continue to proliferate on reddit, and /k/ where there are no rules against cow tipping and the userbases are allowed (encouraged even?) to get increasingly unhinged, make multiple threads on one target, and start fucked up gayops.

I thought that until Russel Phagan of InRangeTV and Othais showed up. Then I realized that apart from arfcom, which is now trying to tardwrangle, there's no real place for long-term gossip. /k/ and reddit won't let you criticize whoever you want because they follow the cult of personality and the boomer gun forums believe they're above that(which they probably are).

I've actually been thinking about Mr. Butler these last few days or so, and asking myself a question. Could he be the Epstein/Diddy of the Gun Community? Now I'm not saying that Mr. Butler is a sex trafficker or rapist, but think about it, he has a long list of Hollywood connections, his products have been featured in some of the most popular action movies of the century (even if it's alleged he paid for product placement), and with every video from his range featuring some celebrity or another there's always these broads in gunbelts and yoga pants just cheerleading in the background, If I wanted to provide a " premium" range experience to some big time actor or celebrity it would pay some Instagram model to stand around and make him feel like hot shit.

And another thing, Mr. Butler is really the only IPSC guy who does what he does to my knowledge, nobody else has the business or influence he does.

It's pretty much a given that all John Wick projects going forward will have some kind of TTI product featured in them, so, is it really impossible to suggest that Mr. Butler has constructed a one man influence operation over Hollywood in furtherance of greater profits? Not to ascribe anything malicious to his motivations, that's just called being a good business man. But then again, he can be a little creepy.

Actors used to be sent to Gunsite Academy for up to date tactical shooting, but now that 3-gun shooting is popular the idea is to send actors there instead and I guess get a deal with product placement.
