I'm not disagreeing with your point though. just adding some more context because Cape buffalo are uniquely hard to kill, and are comparable to elephant in their toughness and ability to tank hits.
It does assist with my point in that he did his due diligence in taking well-aimed hits that ultimately did not perform the way he had hoped as evidenced by his reaction. Performance and effect can be wildly different in practice.
Thanks for the added observation, though, I didn't feel like looking it up again.

YouTuber M26 Lemon Party, a zogbot who has faked quitting YouTube at least twice to gain sympathy subscribers, just dropped the least self aware 20 minute long video of 2026.

m 26 lemon party 15.JPGm26 lemon party 13.JPG

In the video, he cries about Trench Grenade. He cries about Russell. He cries about Vintage Warfare. He cries about his service. He cries about his weight. He cries about YouTube. He cries about people on TRT. He cries about Milsim West. He cries about Nightfighter gear.

He cries about people running on video. He cries about a lack of respect. He says everyone else has a chip on their shoulder. He cries about his knees and his back and says he tries to run but can’t risk injury.

After butting heads with almost every AK GUNTuber, he somehow ends the video asking for mutual respect.

It’s a nonstop stream of grievances followed by a plea for grace. He’s a sad shell of a man, and I genuinely don’t know how you people watch his channel or take him seriously.

That dude is reddit personified. Incredibly smug and condescending while talking about stuff outside his area of expertise. The /r/CompetitionShooting posters are much more reasonable.

Dude is a clown who is eternally mad that no one cares about bullseye shooting.

The funny thing is the bullseye competitors in the reddit thread actually agree with the commenter:

I member this guy from that one video where he said that revolvers were more effective than semi-autos at intimidating people bc with a revolver you can clearly see if it’s loaded while a semi auto is harder to tell. Complete fudd attitude, arguing big claims from small details that don’t even really matter in real life.

I think in general people overestimate how practical most forms of competition shooting really are. To draw a comparison, in rock climbing most people climb using elaborate safety systems to prevent them from falling to their deaths after a wrong move. Some people, you may have heard of a few of them, climb with no safety system at all, so-called “free solo”-ing. If you look at the way both groups climb, you’ll notice certain fundamental differences in their approach. Climbers with safety systems will start to rely on them, projecting far more and making riskier moves because they know they have a rope to catch them if it doesn’t work out. Free solo-ers will not do any of that shit because they know if they take a risk and it doesn’t pay off, they will die. In a way, both groups have their own levels of safety, one bourne out of the system they’re using, the other out of the caution of the climber. This is why the most dangerous form of climbing is not climbing without a safety system, it’s climbing with a bad safety system, because you will attempt to rely on it and it will not catch you and you will die a horrible bloody death.
This is where the comparison comes in, when you train for competition shooting, you are forming your shooting habits partly around the rules of the competition, and these rules will not match up with the rules of a real gunfight. Tyrone the gangbanger isn’t waiting for the beep, and he isn’t worried about what the RSO is gonna say to him after this is over. He doesn’t know shit about shooting stance or trigger pull, but he does know that if you shoot a nigga he dies, and he’s got enough notches in his pistol to prove he can make that happen.
I don’t mean to say that competition is useless/will get you kilt in da streetz, but there is always a difference between what you experience in a competition and in an actual gunfight. Obviously, depending on the style of competition that difference may grow or shrink, but it is always there and should always be respected.

Got a bit nostalgic about the past, especially with Ar/k/adia soon to have been a full decade ago so just in case decided to archive the original video here in case Youtube takes it down, will archive Whiskey Hotel next.

Everyone just instantly gets fat after 30 and if they don't they're on steroids. What a sad fucking argument, he also brags about losing 20lbs over the course of two years. He's borderline weepy about younger guys blowing off his unsolicited advice wisdom and yet has the nerve to accuse others of having fragile male egos. This guy in the definition of the old senior NCO hiding behind a desk in some staff position but never misses an opportunity to tell some random private about his glory days before he goes scurrying back behind his desk.

Also I thought this was a Clint Smith parody at first but no Trench is being serious, I guess Trench just wants to be Clint.

JaredAF always rubbed me wrong. To keep it vague, he made a video responding to a video a friend of mine made, and he purposefully misunderstood the point so he could make his video with a "unique take" that 90% agreed with him. Despite this, he framed it like he was correcting the record and my friend was a retard for obviously missing the point.

The only video of his I found genuinely interesting was the lead test video, and even in that one he proved he's a mongoloid by going "man I used to just have an open drink at the indoor range that I'd chug. I stopped doing that." Like no shit retard. Most ranges don't even let you eat or drink on the line.

This is where the comparison comes in, when you train for competition shooting, you are forming your shooting habits partly around the rules of the competition, and these rules will not match up with the rules of a real gunfight.
I can't find the scene now, but I saw a movie from the 80s or 90s where an actor/stuntman is played by a competition shooter. It's supposed to be a shootout, and the guy shoots someone, and the second he's done, he drops the mag (and maybe locks the slide open). I remember the commentary pointing out that he defaulted to his competition habits afterward.

Point being, imagine you get into a civilian involved shooting and the second you shoot the guy, you drop your mag and show clear. Obviously a bit of training for real life will mitigate this.

you might be thinking of Miami Vice. IPSC shooter Jim zubiena was the firearms instruction and consultant for the show and he played a hitman in some episodes. He performed a real fast mozambique drill with blanks on one episode:
and he does drop the mag and clear after. he even does the head turn thing.

Really makes me happy to see people calling him on his shit. The first thing I ever saw from him was about carrying a revolver to be more intimidating because you can theoretically see the rounds in the cylinder when its pointed at you and be intimidated. Because people are gonna be focusing on if the gun is visibly loaded instead of, oh i dunno, there's a gun being pointed at them?

I see we're all having a baader-meinhof effect about JaredAF now. I'm almost certain he's Indian by the fact how he acts like an authority in his videos and absolutely flips his shit if somebody might say something that proves him wrong. Those screenshots are him basically saying "FAK U BLOODY BITCH BENCHOD" in response to his izzat being threatened.

Also, does anybody else notice how much he overcompensates about how manly and 'Murican he is? "Oh let me just get my pack of unfiltered camels out of my big American truck and sip on a monster energy here guys. Now I'll hold my guns with my finger on the trigger because fuck liberals/redditors. Oh, I was in the military by the way, don't remember if I said that before." It's very obvious and intentional if you pay attention. To be fair, it's just slightly less annoying than Vivek Ramaswamy wearing a cowboy hat and American flag shirt talking about his idea of American ideals.

I'd just watched a TV show about kids training to be olympic shooters and I wanted to know what guns they used. A Google search threw up a video by JaredAF. I can't lie. It was kind of informative. Particularly interesting on how, if you wanted to compete in the olympics, shooting air pistols had probably the lowest cost of entry.

Pretty sure he's some half-breed jeet though.

They're pulling the trigger WRONG!
He's SEETHING uncontrollably!
He's lost ALL HIS IZZAT!
