While I don't agree with Karl I can at least respect his position from a perspective of equality. In a sane world, not even ideal just sane, 2A for everyone would be the blatantly obvious position to hold. Given the world we inhabit though there are simply groups that can't be trusted to be armed without causing trouble for everyone else. He's now had a public altercation with the people he carries water for that shows that they don't hold the same ideals that he does and I hope it opens his eyes a bit to the truth that the groups he backs would disarm him if they ever had the power. Ultimately I think their 4th message was the most mask off and I'm surprised you didn't include it.

I can't be asked to grab screenshots, but in the twitter thread doxxing AdminResults/Aaron Visconti there was talk about someone working on leaking Garand Thumbs DD-214. Is there a point to leaking someones DD-214? I know it's a retirement form but i can't really think of a reason to leak that besides for the sake of leaking it.

Yes. We all have, or should have, that right. Even felons, trannies, illegals etc. Permits should not be required. Being armed isn't just a constitutional right, it is a natural, inherant right.

However not all of us should exercise that right. Those that shouldn't but do, should be avoided whenever possible.

Also, Karl, and The Yankee Marshall are fat and I woukd not have sex with either.

Other former JTACs have more or less vetted him, and Thumb never claimed to have done a bunch of highspeed deployments. Aircrews and pilots are getting the GAU-5A and other disassembling compact carbines over sidearms, which is more practical because you have more/better firepower and range over pistols. Sidearms seem to really be useful in cases where you really need a fallback weapon now.

This is true... in the US. Simple fact is that, that solution is expensive, heavier than a pistol, and not every country will care that much for a pilot who will rarely if ever see ground combat. The pistol is here to stay for pilots for a long time.

There is a difference between thinking someone is unfit or unready to have a gun, yet still allowing them to, and being a gun grabber. Say you have a suicidal family member. I'm merely speculating why he even threatened to try and find it in the first place. Garand has been pretty transparent about his service - at least to the degree he is/was allowed to be; actually that is why Paul's comment about leaking the doc strikes me - and a lot of other people - odd. I guess we'll never know the rationale behind his threats. Then again, I wouldn't expect a fed who supports the tranch to be rational in his decision making.

TACP then a SERE instructor is what he's stated, don't think he's gone into much detail past that. Wonder if the guy will actually release it if that's exactly what his DD-214 says or if he'll pretend he never said anything and hopes nobody remembers

Mike Jones was an enlisted SERE instructor, and then a TACP Officer. He never deployed. I suppose someone could be mad that he makes videos about tactics and firearms while not really being qualified, but so do countless other people. If people are taking GT as a serious advice channel rather than a comedy/entertainmet channel, that's on them.

I mean if you're an instructor of something I assume you're probably a lot more qualified to speak about the subject than most people. I don't think there's exactly a surplus of pilots that were shot down and had to use their SERE skills innawoods behind enemy lines making content, anyway.

I haven't seen GT do a survival video. I have seen him do videos about CQB and Sniping both of which he has no business talking about.

@Blasterisk call me autistic all you want. People with no experience on a topic about firearms/tactics putting out bad info to is the worst aspect of internet gun culture and it's going to get people hurt or killed. I know cops who adopt shit based on what they see in YouTube videos.
