Ive never understood how Austria managed to skate on the cold war and any accountability for WW2. Literally the only thing I know of that even happened there between 1946 and 1991 is the invention of the Glock pistol
My understanding is that Austria in the immediate aftermath of WWII was an absolute clusterfuck. It was broken up into various occupation zones with some-sort of UN-style council governing it, this council was stuck in deadlock for the majority of its existence, eventually the Soviets and the West came to the agreement of Austria being a neutral independent nation rather than being partitioned like the Germans.
Also the Soviets stole anything they could lift while the US was working with the Yugos to prevent a Czech-style communist takeover.

I mean, calling out the US SecDef as the donkey as he is isn't being a leftist.
Pete Hegseth is a GigaChad. You? You’re a retard.
It's just stating the fucking facts.
Maybe if you’re an absolute fucking mush brain.
Also kek at calling Brandon and Admin "normal".
Regular dudes who go to church and don’t hate the country seem normal to me.

What makes him a gigachad? Disregarding operational security and the lives of Americans that are serving to defend their country by leaking classified information to family and friends in non-secure channels? Or is it the fact that that he made decisions without the approval of Trump and his administration, and once they found out they quickly reverted those decisions? Or the fact that they've already redone half of his office because of security leaks?

So him being a rebel and a potential easy exploit for foreign agents is a sign of a gigachad? Sounds like a giant donkey to me.

How Manu US service members have died under his watch?

Is it still less than 13?

What kind of stupid faggot shit talks the best SecDef in my lifetime?!
Ian strikes me as a James Rolfe sort of character where he’s Boomerish when it comes to anything but his niche content creation.
And tbh, I can have a friend that doesn’t think exactly like I do so I can definitely watch someone’s videos for free who doesn’t have the same exact views as me.

I’ll prolly not be buying any of his books or merch anytime soon tho.
Mush brained yammering.

Ding ding ding.

The recurring problem to all of this is bandwagon hopping.

Trying to get a concise and complete summary is all but impossible. People lunge to get choice clicks before anything can be fleshed out. During what should be the data gathering and review phase, a whole mess of personalities start spreading claims as wide as possible.

Whichever theory has the most emotional energy behind it prevails. It could be true or not, doesn't really matter. It's Schrodinger's Scandal with extra steps. Imagine someone finally looks in the box to confirm the cat, but by then no one is listening and has moved on to arguing about another sealed box.

I tend to be a box-opener and rarely weigh in beforehand. Which is probably why most people don't even know who I am. Being careful means being irrelevant.

Current Tripp stream is retarded.
Literally arguing he has no obligation to not jump to conclusions, it's everyone else's job to leave no room for me to misinterpret.

In relation to the silencer center thing
I'm waiting on him to get sued or make a clown of himself eventually. He's desperate for content and so jumps on drama hardcore immediately. The way he goes about these things is not sustainable long term. Also he talks so fucking slowly.

That guy is a massive fag and I choose to disagree with everything he says without watching a single video of his.

I doubt he'll get sued anytime soon since he hasn't gotten sued by GT, SDI, or Sig yet. Now being a clown might be this stream, it was just him seething about people not buying into the drama, seething about contrarians like Hop and also seething about Ian.

Ian has a degree in engineering and has visited more than one firearms factory (and likely gotten the tour guides' explanations on the procedures and methods used), so of course he's taking the engineering view on this whole debacle. The problem is that this doesn't seem to be entirely an engineering problem. Or rather, it is an engineering problem, but its causes appear to malicious rather than merely accidental on the part of SIG.

The guy has a blind spot the size of an 18-wheeler when it comes to anything business-side. Remember all the projects he thought were going to be the future (hello, Hudson H9) but that then floundered because of stupid business decisions from the manufacturers?
I'm almost a week late and agree with you for the most part but there is something that needs to be corrected. Ian does indeed have a degree, he has an associates degree in something like mechanical engineering technology he got at a southern Arizona community college. Its not a real degree where you can talk some authority from as you could with a full fledged bachelors degree unless you have the manufacturing experience to match since this is really the type of degree you would get to go work a factory floor as a technician. Since he got it in southern Arizona, it was probably a degree established decades ago to prepare people to work at the old IBM computer parts/keyboard factory and Hughes/Raytheon Missiles in Tucson.

In fairness to Ian, he doesn't flex that degree at all, so he isn't using it as a position to speak from authority but rather he understands manufacturing and technical data packages. Personally, I think Tripp screwed up and should of done some homework to understand manufacturing before making the claims.

LFD research has posted a video regarding how the P320 could potentially go off without pulling the triger.
if i understand this video correctly, He claims that one of the source of these issues is cascading and stems from
-a mismatched FCU is installed improperly; i.e, a 10mm being put into a 9mm frame, in a way that doesn't fully engage the striker sear (note that the assembly procedure has changed from 2014-16 era P320s.)
-a failing striker safety

Unless I've missed something, one thing to note is that unlike the previous drop safety issue w/the trigger weight, there is nothing inherent to the design that makes it falliable to UD's, except maybe being able to put a 10mm FCU into a 9mm frame, but If the rumors about sig's shitty QC practices are true, which I personally do believe they are, I think it would be extremely easy for a gun that has all these issues come out of SIG's factories, thus inducing an Uncommanded Discharge like those we've seen on video so far.

R.E: on the MIM'd striker safety, it seems that according to this video, the P320 DID use to have a MIM'd Striker safety, but it seems it has since been replaced with a stamped one in newer designs.
MIMMING.webp
So whats to learn from this? If i already own/If i were to buy a new P320, right now, I would do two things; check the FCU to make sure it isn't a 10mm FCU, and ensure that the striker safety works.
If I was interested in Customizing the gun, I would be EXTREMELY WEARY of swapping out components with other 320's. I know the whole selling point with the P320 is that you can easily change different parts, and it'll "just work", but considering that there have been numerous design changes that will affect the safety of the gun, I think its reasonable to assume that using parts from P320s of a different model year will cause some unintended consequences.

P.S; this dude looks like Karl Kasarda's cousin, look at that hamplanet

So new Donut Operater interview via Eli with some major lore drops:

1. His Navy recruiter, in a bid to goose up his recruitment numbers to meet quota, fudged all of Donut's physical fitness stats when he submitted his recruitment papers without his knowledge. Donut only got to stay in the Navy because no one wanted to fucking make a fuss about such corrupt antics, but ensured he got put on some of the lowliest duties one can be put on because everyone deemed him physically useless.

2. Exploited loopholes while in the Navy to spend about a year to do nothing but physical training, in hopes of getting his physical strength up so he can get into Navy SEALs. Got accepted around the time his superior officer found out what he did and basically got away with it.

2. Donut washed out in a couple of weeks in Seals training due to repeated back injuries he suffered, with the thing that ultimately made him say "fuck it" was the trainers telling him "he wasn't hurt that bad" and Skyrim coming out/the recent birth of his son....

3. Which was a GOOD thing, as he got the "Officer and a Gentleman" treatment where once he came home; he found out that his wife wanted nothing to do with him if he wasn't a SEAL and basically revealed that she had a lover on the side. She pretty much bailed on him and the kid (which given this revelation, one must now assume the possibility that John ISN'T Donut's kid but his wife's lover's), took all of their money, their car, and basically moved to California and hasn't seen EITHER of them since moving away with said lover.

3. While Skyrim was fun distraction for a bit, reality soon kicked in and Donut was suicidal as fuck and only didn't kill himself because of his kid; and to be charitable, I'm going to assume that as part of the suicide arc, Donut somehow got parents to front the money for a paternity test and had his shotgun ready to blow his head off if the results he got in the mail told him John was a bastard and his wife literally left him high and dry to raise her and her lover's illegitmate child that neither wanted. And didn't when he found out that his whore wife actually had his kid and just abandoned him with her husband while she started her new life with her lover.

4. After living with his sister, Donut finally got a job as a waiter, then a bartender, and was about to become a manager at a country club's restaurant, before his parents let him and his kid move back in with him.

5. In a story that I'm cynical enough to think is bullshit, when John was two years old he wanted a $30 Lego set and Donut (pre-waiter gig) couldn't afford it and basically had an existential crisis over the fact that he was a failure as a dad.

6. Moving back to the Carolinas to move live with his parents, he decided to be a cop and did two years, eventually making SWAT. He then decided to do other stuff (going back to waiting tables/bartending, and a stint as a PI, where he states all he did was follow around people on worker's comp secretly recording them in the day light hoping to find proof they were faking their injuries). Bored as hell, he went back to being a cop.

7. When discussing the photo that made him internet famous (a mustachioed Cody and the kitten he adopted, Squirtle) he doesn't mention Buzzfeed as the place that made the photo famous, but says "morning TV shows".

8. He was basically living with his parents for the first couple of years of his internet YT career; his parents supported him but he stated the whole "Donut Operator: Real Estate Agent" arc was him shutting up his parents over their failson's life choices not paying the bills, especially after PewDiePie said Nigger and triggered the Adocalypse, which hit just as Donut got his first big paycheck from Youtube, basically setting his YT career back to zero due to the fact that it took him months on end of re-grinding to get back to being able to make a living.

Absolutely. My point wasn't to imply Ian is some kind of expert at engineering or gunsmithing because of that degree. In fact, I'm sure he has learned much more about engineering in general on his own, after getting that degree. What I meant is that he's already a guy who's curious about the mechanics and manufacture of firearms, which means he's a lot more likely to consider the technical aspects of a problem, even when it was probably caused by choices on the business end of the operation. Hell, I'd go so far as to argue him being originally so indisposed towards things like the AR-15 forward assist was a reflection of that: the gun doesn't need it to function, but the military (read: the client) still asked for it for usability rather than engineering reasons and it offended Ian's autism. It took a lot of evidence (I think the Rittenhouse case helped there) before he dropped that grudge.

No, I absolutely buy that. It's a legit feeling.

I assume that any woman with a militaryman who is away from her for five minutes or more has cheated. It's basically a guarantee. Do they still warn recruits about Jody in basic, or was that banned because it hurt women's feelings?

Based off of all the other obviously cucked men I have met, I would bet money he will never genetic test the kid so he can keep living in delusion. Even if they do find out, a lot have the "but I'm his real father" type cope anyways since they got conned into raising another man's bastard child. If he had tested the kid, I think he would have mentioned it since everyone is going to assume it's a cuck baby.
