In a mild defense, some of the people commenting on his videos and instagram posts are insufferable. When he was showing his workouts for Finnish Brutality a few years ago, people were asking for his PR or pace on certain exercises. When he would answer, they would just go "I'm faster by X." That has to be annoying.

But at the same time, I think all the praise and "Gun Jesus" comments have probably gotten in his head and the sudden backlash bruised his ego.

Maybe I've developed a parasocial attachment, but I've been holding him in much higher regard than pretty much any other guntuber - both because of how much I like his content, and because he's been very good at separating his personal life and opinions from his professional output.

So it's a little disappointing seeing him fail to ignore the idiots. I've never cared for the Gun Jesus nickname, but in this case he needs to embrace it and ask 'What Would Regular Jesus Do?' (Probably not spend a minute snarking at someone who told him that he was hammering nails wrong, or that they could cut wood a little faster than he could.)

I don't think they will live this long to the point of something like this happening. We, in general, are used to the comfort of things "working". Once everything "goes south" there will be nothing to rely on except yourself and groups of friends.

Rhetorical question: Do you think trannies, sodomites & et al are going to "work together"? Perhaps dangerous military men might have the headspace to do something dangerous, but weapons enthusiasts who troon out will probably die of drug/substance abuse. God willing.

I think you guys might be reading a bit too much on it. He made one pretty inoffensive throwaway short (all praise the Youtube Algorithm) poking fun at armchair instructors diagnosing his malfunctions as persistent limp-wristing. He's an experienced shooter with a habit of shooting a wide variety of pistols, so in this case I'd much more likely call it an issue with the gun or the ammo. He wasn't getting into arguments in the comments, he didn't throw any fits, and he didn't shave his head and move to Tibet.

Of course, if he ends up making a habit out of releasing snarky low-effort videos to own the comment section, then we have a more lolcow-like pattern of behavior to work with. But for now, while Ian can absolutely be an idiot, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.

To be fair the only reason he is not arguing in the comment sections is because he bans people from commenting that have an opinion different from his own. I know you guys love to glaze Ian here page after page but you also loved to glaze Paul Harrell and he had no issues with the BRNO. My personal BRNO has never had any issues in about 500 rounds.


Ian was obviously limp wristing the BRNO

Reading the comments yesterday on the real video it seems like he maybe had the wrong power recoil spring for the cartridge which would cause limp wrist style issues. I think the thing also does 10mm and maybe 40 or 9 with a barrel/mag/maybe spring swap so that's def a place to introduce issues.
Hes a faggot tho since he should've said he mixed the springs up or smth instead of act in the manner that you'd generally assume a faggot would

This would make sense, I think he knows he fucked something up and doesn't want to own up to it from the way he's acting. I was mostly talking shit because I think he's being a bitch, but the pistol really kinda did look like it was being limp wristed. It did the thing where it looks like it's working right and then it just stops abruptly. That can be other things besides limp wristing, but it's a classics sign of it if it.

Or do the grandparents maintain good relations with the child's mother, ensuring continued access to their grandchild and grandpa's pissed because his son is stiffing his ex-wife/baby mama?

I don't know why I'm surprised whenever another YouTuber turns out to be an utter scumbag, because it really does seem like an obligatory qualification, but FFS, what kind of douchebag larps as some kind of hypermasculine military hero but doesn't support their own fucking kids?

He got in trouble for taking care of a bear that was harassing his neighbors that the wildlife enforcement wouldn't do anything about until after it would kill someone, and has killed bears in self defense. Per his wife(attorney, worked in the DA's office) shooting a bear will get you scrutinized more than anything.
I don't blame him for rubbing it in.

Bear protectionism is out of control. I don't have grizzlies on my land here in KY but have a shit-ton of black bears. they are untouchable. There are hundreds in my county alone, and they are so common you can easily go and watch them raid the dumpsters behind restaurants and schools. they are getting huge too since they don't have to work for their food. A few years ago one was hit by a car just over the border in Virginia that weighed 700 pounds. fucking massive.

There is a hunting season but the regs are so tight that it's impossible to meet them all. The state considers a bear with any non-natural food in it's digestive system to have been baited, and bear hunting with the aid of bait is illegal. since the vast majority of bears here get the majority or all of their nutrition from scavenging food from dumpsters its almost impossible to legally hunt a bear.

A man killed one in defense of his lives stock and the department of fish and wildlife came down on him like a ton a bricks. I think he eventually got cleared but he had to go through a trial and all that goes with that. its a disgrace. There is no risk of over hunting black bear here. they have no natural predators, and most hunters here do not have the time or funds to properly hunt one. A proper bear hunt takes a team of hounds and a team of trackers and you'll cover many a mile to get one.

I am dealing with the same thing in the South East corner of the state. Some of my neighbors have just started doing away with them quietly. I really try to be a good boy when it comes to Fish and Wildlife regulations, but these things will not leave my stuff alone. They've torn down two stands, a semi-permanent tent I had set up, tore the cover off my boat for seemingly no reason and have left fauns laying half alive on the game trail leading up from my house on two occasions. They also can't get enough of my trail cams. I'm probably a grand into replacing the cameras they rip down and walk off with. This was all in the last six months. It's kinda weird because before this year I really only had to deal with them getting in my trash every so often. Or trying to fuck with my freezers in my building.

I think in a lot of state shooting a bear would legitimately be investigated harder than if you shot a crackhead. I'd be pretty hard pressed to report shooting a bear or mountain lion in self defense if I thought I could get away with just never mentioning it to anybody.

That shit in KY is outrageous.
Bears that have been eating out of dumpsters and shit are the ones that need shot the most because they're encroaching on people. If you let people freely remove nuisance bears it ironically reduces the pressures to eliminate them because people feel safer about having them around or forget they even exist.
Missouri does this weird thing where they basically try and deny bears or mountain lions even exist and they just pass through the north and South dges of the state on rare occasions Even though we've had a bear season for years now and people are shooting them like three counties north of Kansas City.

All the old folks swear by pouring ammonia around places you don't want bears or coons to get near. I've never tried it myself. I've got a bear proof trash bin i put my bags in and don't put anything outside that might draw them in. KYFDW used to supply rubber bullets to people with problem bears but i don't know if they do that anymore.

I've loaded some 12 gauge black powder blanks to scare off wildlife. works fairly well but i fear they will get used to it. 110 grains of FFG BP with just a wad sealing the top.
