I get that. In another world he would probably receive that money no problem. However, him taking his time to dredge up an old post, that predates the current social media manager for Brownells, in response to being "annoyed" over Xitter enough to bypass the DMCA process and go right to a lawsuit that alleges damages/lost income? will not get him friends in the legal sphere. There will be assumptions that he allowed the picture to be used because he did not act at the time of posting, of which he seems to have been aware since.
He didn't learn shit from James Reeves.

I used to be on Arfcom a lot for the technical forums but it sucks now. It's basically a Gen X circle jerk about the 1980's with a few remaining demented boomers and nothing new. I remember seeing they cucked out to the London police years ago and this must be the incident, likely when it first happened.

There was also another Canadian member that had a massive melt down when Trump was talking about the 51st state, not surprised Striker is still being a faggot.

that was fluffythecat IIRC. I liked his posts before his sperg out. He was obsessed with the 9.3x62mm cartridge and was building a Garand in the cartridge, which was cool.

Update on Ivan/NaviGoBoom/John Elik
He is choosing to not sue Brownells because reasons, but states the Constitution's protections of copyright and IP law would support his right to do so. He has solidified himself as being big gay in pushing the retard logic of Brownells personally receiving stacks of cash in exchange for them posting an image that he did not initially object to for the years it has been active on multiple websites.

The only thing the Constitution says about copyright is authorizing Congress to make laws regarding it, it expressly defines these as limited protections, and it makes absolutely no attempt to conflate violating these protections with theft.
The idea that Brownells should owe Ivan any amount of money for posting a picture (that realistically made them $0) is absurd, especially when the original image was posted freely for anyone to see.
Intellectual property is a meme term used to conflate various forms of legal protections that, in truth, have nothing to do with each other. The idea that you can own a non-physical concept or idea in the same way as a physical object is patently absurd and has never been respected in law.
Copying is not theft and reposting is your civic duty.

EDIT: Also, he said “they had used [the picture] for years” before he decided to bring this up to them or bring suit. This significantly damages his case. The way that copyright law works, if you know someone is violating your copyright and refuse to act, that is generally considered an implicit permission for that use. This is not absolute, but it does significantly weaken his case against them.

Him and Matt are best buddies, they are practically clones but one of them is this weird swarthy frenchoid thing. He regularly travels to Florida to sperg about guns with Matt and hosts a podcast with him (they might also be business partners, I don't know the actual ownership specifics of MAF Corp, I thought CTRL+Pew owned it but Apparently Matt does)

Ivan calms the tide by both stating the Brownells posts(now deleted and not archived) claimed ownership of the image and subject thereof as well as admitting the intent of the copyright registration is to sue Cody Wilson specifically should he post any of his images, a la Matt's Hitchhiker design for which there is currently a legal battle ensuing.
