Ivan is a retarded faggot that craves attention. People weren’t giving him enough so he doubled down. It drives him crazy that he will never come close to be JStark.

This is also very, very funny when you compare this to the incident that Othais has with Classic Firearms. Sweaty Ben used Othais’ images for on site advertising and not just a shitpost, then made an absolute arse of himself with the apology. Othais seemed like a good sport about it and didn’t sperg on Twitter.

This was about 10-12 years ago I think? It was a decent amount of time ago in internet years at least, basically archaeology.

It was right around the time that Classic was updating their website and getting more ‘modern’, back when every shipment of Mosins was ‘totally the last one’.

They used photos from C&Rsenal to do an advertisement for Mosins, never asked for permission to use them, didn’t credit Othais either. Othais reached out to try and make a gentlemen’s deal about it.

Sweaty Ben ended up sending Othais a couple of rusted out guns as way of an apology (or possibly payment), which honestly just made him look like a petty bitch. It was a bit of a shitstorm at the time.

I might have a few of the details wrong, but that’s the general gist. Maybe @Othais can fill in any details I missed.

That's basically the story except for a couple strange points:

My offer was "Hey we are near each other anyway and this could be mutually beneficial. Pay me in a single rifle (valued at I wanna say $250 at the time) and I will go ahead and do a photo set, etc and you can use that for advertising. Maybe we can get a flow going.

In correspondence, I only emailed with the marketing guy. I never managed to speak with anyone directly aside from a receptionist. I was very careful to be civil towards her because she was a very nice lady and had nothing to do with it. I did have to ask her if management really knew what was up or was marketing trying to bury this, because the emails were extremely delayed as was fulfillment once agreed. Given there was another blow up after the agreement hadn't been fulfilled for weeks, I suspect they only caved to quiet noise.

What they sent was clapped out and they later excused it by saying that's all they had left. None of that was communicated ahead of time of course.

I have had a lot of images stolen, there was a Shotgun News writer I had to basically send a legal notice to bc it kept happening. At this point we have been registering all the edited spreads so I have much better leverage and each case will be "worth it" to enforce.

Othias (tagging appears dead right now for some reason?) has posted a vlog whilst riding a Honda Helix. I'm not sure if I'm appalled or impressed.
Edit: I'm going to quarterback from the position of a total outsider, but some guys have had issues with the algorithm after posting videos that are different from normal. If you're going to do vloggy content, you might want a second channel.

That’s the funny thing about Ivan, even when he’s correct about something he’s such an unlikeable prick it triggers everyone’s contrarian nature.

He must be seething about being forgotten so quickly, he thrives on attention after all. He obviously wasn’t shoved into enough lockers as a kid.
