getting rated... - does it bother you when you are getting a negative rating ?

i often wonder how you Guys feel when you are getting a negative rating on your Comment...
does it bother you a lot? do you even look who rated you wich Symbol to get back at their Comments? XD
How about when the negative rating wasn t justified?
i often feel a bit sad when i get bad Symbols like the Trashcan or TMI O.o

(But in all seriousness, the sticker system is a solid one. If the bad ratings matter that much to the individual, then they're more likely to think before they post again and it helps ensure the posts in threads are at a baseline level of quality. If nothing else, public mockery has always been a great way to keep people in line.)

The sticker/ratings are an overall decent system for feedback. Sometimes I post something dumb and receive the deserved trashcans and I'm sure one day I'll get drunk, lost in the weeds, and post something that'll earn me twenty or so puzzle pieces.

Sometimes I get odd ratings that I feel are undeserved, but there are users on the farms who are, let's say, a bit South of normal; hang around tards long enough and at least one of them is bound to throw a handful of feces at you. I generally don't pay much attention to ratings, but I'd consider some introspection if negative ratings become a more widespread, go-to reaction for many of my posts.

However, I get overly excited and feel a sense of accomplishment if I get a bunch of Islamic content or horrifying ratings.
