I don't know how I missed it, but Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective was released on Steam, Switch, and other platforms about a month ago.

I'm really torn about it--it's a great game, it's what I wanted to see on PC with high-resolution artwork (similar to the long-defunct iOS version), and I'd play it again, but it's $30 (at that price, there are many other games I'm more interested in) and it comes with Denuvo.

I'm waiting for a sale and them to strip denuvo off of it. Ghost Trick is probably #2 behind 999 of games I wish I could play blind again. (Though fuck the PC version of that completely neutering the dual screen portion of the game and changing the final puzzle because of it. Do yourself a favor and play it on emulator or even better on an actual DS. It's that worth it)

I remember it was a nice game with some neat twists but not a lore more than that.

Is Denuvo such a factor? It's not like it will have much of an hardware effect on a game that could run on a 10 year old phone with no issue.

I loved this game. The music was good, the characters were quirky and the plot was interesting and well-developed.

Agree that it isn’t really worth $30 though. Even the Ace Attorney trilogy is only $10 on Steam. I honestly think that GT’s price is so high because it was a really late release for the classic DS, so it didn’t make a ton of sales and now the actual carts cost $150-$200. Compared to that, $30 is cheap.
