Edit: Damn reminiscing on mid 2000s /b/ just sent me on a trip. I was trying to remember the name of some post-Boxxy attention whore who used to spam her youtube videos -- eventually I remembered the channel was called "dezisgod". Checked to see if anything became of it and turns out that not only did she become a pornstar, she's also fucking dead.

Previously, during The Merge \ Incest Saga new users were given "Post-Merger" tag.

There used to be a word filter that would, among other things, turn "retard" into "exceptional individual" and "retarded" into "exceptional". It was so widespread that exceptional individual sort of unironically became part of the lingo for a bit.
It also turned "milk" into "tardcum" because Null thought the metaphor of "milking a lolcow" was gay. This led to unfortunate moments when people were talking about actual milk.

Wordfilter still exists for "lolcow.org". If you try to use it in your post it will change to [Do not link directly, use archive.is].
The site doesn't exist and it's been gone for years.
