Jim is a rare example of someone with "max charisma stat" IRL. He's the IRL example of someone who can talk many bosses into killing themselves without a fight. Even if someone hates Jim, the fact he's extremely charismatic, and very quick minded, is undeniable.
There's all the talk of Jim's hypochondria, but it doesn't just apply to illness. If anyone's a LONGtime Jim fan, they may remember that Jim's basically done "This is the end of the world! The country is going to collapse from THIS one!" doomer streams like once or twice per year. Anytime a new law comes out, or a new catastrophe, etc. He's literally the doomsday prepper who gets out the two-dozen shotguns and mask everytime the power goes out or an election happens, saying "FINALLY!"
He's mentioned MANY times how he's an "accelerationist" and "thinks the world will only get better once everything burns down". Jim attaches himself to causes, and actually gets into them, you could hear how much he cared in his voice, like in Gamergate. Jim gets emotionally angry (just not mouthfrothing, so autists cant tell its anger) over lots of things, like Baked treating his fans poorly, or pedophiles, etc. Jim talked about how he wanted to become a teacher, but became disillusioned about how things actually worked. I think Jim is probably a jaded idealist. And I think a lot of things he HOPES some epic major event will happen, that COVID will be like some apocalypse movie, etc.
Godwinson mentioned in the stream listing off Jim's "various illnesses" and Jim talking about his doctor's visits, how nobody could find anything "so it must be some secret undetectable new disease", or how doctors would just prescribe him aspirin... and it would work... and Godwinson suspecting Jim probably mentally creates illness and pain within himself. Its a real thing, BTW. Jim mentioned his hypertension a lot, which can be a sign of anxiety disorders and actual panic attacks.
Jim's also... probably an alcoholic... considering he has more than a few DUIs, and talks about how he spends so much of his time bored drinking, and is Irish. Alcoholism can cause, and very much worsen if any exist, both mental and physical issues. Jim also talked about how he decided to stop eating solid food for a long time, and then got sick... like no shit. "Well, I just didn't feel like eating anymore." Turning a mental condition into a physical condition.
I suspect Jim is kind of a romantic. Fantasizing about the collapse of society like its The Walking Dead. Or taking down institutions like IGN/Kotaku or how Trump was gonna change everything. Or tragically being stricken by a mysterious chronic illness that doctors cant identify but will definitely kill him probably he thinks. And he's charismatic, intelligent, and aloof/mysterious enough to talk and sell those fantasies to people.
. I wanna hear his side of the story too, he needs his time in the sun to speak his truth. I want to remind everyone that a certain Iranian hairdresser homosexual traitor and a fat bdsm gimp also a traitor are there and they both have a bone to pick with this guy.
