I need something to keep me busy on the metro every day, recommend me some good and free mobile games.

I like RPGs, Tactical RPGs, Strategy games, and Civ-like games.

There's a lot of free Risk clones out there that don't have ads.

Order and Chaos 2 is a pretty good mobile game. It's free and it's an actual open world RPG. With people walking around, 3/4 different classes, skill trees, gear actually shows instead of simply changing stats, etc.

If you ever have money to spare there's a pretty cool single player open world RPG sort of like TES called Ravensword: Shadowlands. It's about a good 8-10 hours and can be played multiple times. It's pretty fun. There's a lot of different weapons and while the mobs are kinda bland at first they get more interesting later. How quests are structured are nice too. I was exploring on the coast and found a ship or some shit. Had a ring inside of it, somehow linked to a random side quest in a different town, so that was pretty cool.

Almost forgot dungeon quest. It's a neat and free dungeon crawler. 3 classes that can be played and multiple ways with different elements, weapon rarities, etc. I spent a lot of time on it because my 4G has been garbo. (it's offline)

I'm playing Eternium right now. It's okay, a bit simplistic but it scratches my itch for a top down dungeon crawler.

Mobile games are sadly not at the point yet where they are woth playing at all.. maybe in another 1-3 years... so far its all just cash grab hack jobs.

I thought all mobile games were free to play, steal Frank Wu's credit card to win.

There's a Dragon Quest Monsters wannabe called Siralim that's okay. The trial lasts until character level 15 and is $5 for the full if you dig it.

Conspiracy is a great app for the boardgame Diplomacy.

Also the chess.com app, named Chess Learn and Play, is great if you want to learn how to actually play chess isntead of being the retard who throws pieces around the board randomly the first 10 turns. The free lessons they have that aren't part of their membership vaults are still really informative and well produced.

Also World of Tanks Blitz is pretty fun if you want a more streamlined/dumbed down world of tanks. Just have to deal with shitty controls because touchscreen.

If you're into Japanese games or anime games. Monster strike is a monster/ fantasy based pinball style game that im hopelessly addicted to. otherwise there is a bunch of sniper games, card games or brawlers like marvel contest of champions

Gems of war mixes match 3 with card-based turn taking battles. The lore in the story mode kinda takes the piss out of itself, it knows it’s a ripoff of everything else and has fun with it.
I’ve only spent $4.99 on it but didn’t really have to, just had Google Play credit.
Tetris Blitz doesn’t really need you to blow money on it to have fun provided you already have decent Tetris skills.

The Battle of Polytopia is the only mobile game to ever scratch the civ itch for me.

There's a Sranger Things game available, it's a top down dungeon/puzzle game with no ads and no in game purchases.

I've played it for about an hour and it's really enjoyable so far so I'd recommend it.

Terragenesis. It's a map/colonial sim where you're in charge of the terraforming and seeding of Mars. There's sometimes an ad at the top but it has a EU4 type of feel.

I like Final Fantasy Record Keeper. It’s free to play but they give away their in game currency like it’s candy. It’s basically all the FF games and characters styled in 16 bit
