[All links here are pretty NSFW, unless you like having the words "FIFTEEN NAKED COWBOYS IN THE SHOWER!" blast through your speakers]
Grant MacDonald is a musician from Toronto, Canada. He first came to my attention when his music was featured on the Worst Things For Sale blog last summer. The first thing that you notice about his work is the music. Virtually every song is a backing track with Mr. MacDonald shouting over the top about how he would enjoy some gay sex now, please, and preferably with cowboys or his current fixation, Prince Harry. Here, browse to your heart's content.

What makes him so fascinating to me is the scope of his ambitions. Grant is not just content to be a professional sex wanter, he's also begun a career as a filmmaker. This gives him an even better platform than his music to talk about his feelings on J.P. Getty, namely that they owe his family (who I suspect own a bank, given contextual clues in his work) "a billion bucks" according to the song "A Billion Bucks." His film Getty is viewable in full on IMDB, where he outlines the full extent of... something. Here, watch for yourself, if you want to see someone point a camera at newspaper clippings for 39:44.
Grant MacDonald's twitter, @GrantMacDonald, helps keep you updated on new releases, which is good because he writes and releases at least one new song onto Spotify, Amazon and iTunes every Tuesday pretty much without exception (use the Spotify option. I don't know why you would pay for this stuff). I don't understand why he does any of it, but after a few months of watching this guy I have gained a weird kind of respect for his relentless output, and also his stubborn insistence on not using any kind of rhyme or meter scheme in most of this songs.
So, in summary, if you like listening to people talk over a backing track about how many speedo cowboys are going "deep deep deep, deep deep deep" into an orifice or watching people map out a conspiracy theory about J.P. Getty, Grant MacDonald is your guy. Also, due to his crazy high rate of content production, I'm never sitting around wondering "when will G-Mac release his next song?" because I always know the answer: Tuesday.
