A curious sheep has been caught on camera with its head stuck in a bale of hay.
Graham Findlay witnessed the scene while driving near Cruden Bay, Aberdeenshire.
The 57-year-old then made the eight-mile journey home to Peterhead to get his camera before driving back to snap a photo.
Mr Findlay, who works at Peterhead Prison Museum, said: "I've never seen anything like it in my life.
"I think it was going for the wet stuff in the centre of the bale of hay.
"If I were a sheep in need of nutrition, I'd go for the inside."
