The main reason I really really don't like him is related to TF2 drama with the Creators.tf stuff and him being a general faggot. But I just tried to re-read the OP of his inactive KF thread and the biggest attempt to debunk his accolade of successfully predicting Half-Life Alyx for years prior to its' release is "um actually his community helped him too and they were just datamining!". Like, yeah... that's what he does... it still counts. Then the OP also goes on to complain about him... streaming Half-Life Alyx when it came out, and streaming a mod that had bugs in it (lolwut?). Outside of the tranny Source leaking stuff, the thread doesn't really seem to give me a good idea of him overblowing his reporting shit comically out of proportion in recent times. He's a cringe retard, but I think his trackrecord with modern Half-Life reporting specifically seems to be solid now, and he must have learned from at least some prior mistakes because the Alyx reporting was real outside a handful of mishaps, and his HLX videos (outside of the thumbnails sometimes) are also not blown out of proportion, he literally begs people to not overreact to the things he says (he also begs news outlets to not as well).
It also helps that Gabe Follower, someone who is much more respected, pretty much always says the same things that McVicker does.
