Saar, please understand modding 30 year old video game is very hard and voice actors do not deserve money.I played a bit of that and its clear whoever did the voice acting doesn't know English that well
>Now I look back and think "Man, I was the first Tyler McVicker, I WAS TYLER MCNIGGER"I prefer when people refer to Tyler McVicker as McDicker over McNigger, yeah he acts like a nigger but McDicker is funnier because it reminds me of the principal from Beavis and Butt-head
Few years ago i tried play it on deck too. Crashed at a different point the same way. Idk how the fuck those devs raped the source engine so muchPicked up Black Mesa to play on my Steam Deck a while ago, but I've been hard stopped by a crash to "desktop" that seems to occur consistently whenever I approach the Vortigaunt vs. marine shootout in On A Rail. Have any other Deck owners encountered this issue? I'd rather not cheat my way past if possible.
IIRCepisodes didnt really do much with tech
they slightly improved the AI but that about it.
It popularized skeletons in modelling and animation. The first Half-Life ran on GoldSrc and didn't really do anything impressive tech wise
It's not really going that far.I wouldn't go that far, but you are correct.
One of the many reasons Epics CEO always clitty leaks over ValveWhile you can debate that Unreal did it better, it came a tad too late to the party to claim the crown.
Two more things it popularized that go unnoticed are colored lighting effects and digital effects processing on sounds. Things like the metal bonging when in air vents or all the green and blue glowing around Xen were the result of making id's engine suck less and unintentionally becoming more advanced that what Quake II was using. It popularized skeletons in modelling and animation.
It popularized scripted sequences vs FMV cutscenes.
It pioneered storytelling priority over just clearing a level/stage.
Unreal did not have skeletal animations, lole. It was all vertex, which is why everything felt so stiff and robotic. While you can debate that Unreal did it better
Got them braindawgs. Man, I spammed so many audio files in zombie master source back in the day.
This niggas thread is barely active and yet he’s still upset at usI decided to play a Tyler McNigger stream and went to a random moment, and what do I hear? "I don't think Kiwi Farms had anything to do with it" In relation to him getting harassment online over HL3 not getting previously revealed at game awards
I think you misheard him though, he's explicitly not blaming us. Which is actually surprising tbh, kudos to him for that I guess. This niggas thread is barely active and yet he’s still upset at us![]()
