Pumpkin spice is at best ok in small amounts, the absolute overdose corporations have been giving us the past few years is on the same level of stupid as the bacon obsession from the early-mid 2010s.

I've missed out on pumpkin carving for the past few years now, so my fiance and I are going to make it a point to actually get a few pumpkins this year to carve and bake pumpkin seeds.

I can handle not having spooky pumpkins on my front porch, but not at least roasting some seeds to munch on? I feel incomplete.

Do it. It is so fucking satisfying especially if you have a touch of the tism. You get the brute force of kniveing out the pumpkins cranium and spooning out it's brains. Make sure to save the seeds and roast them for the kids. Then you can draw or trace the most elaborate design you feel comfortable with on the exterior and go in with small knives and saws. I do it every year with the kids and it is a blast.

Just go to the con. I promise you won't be the oldest single guy there. Just don't try to pick up 14 year olds and it will be all cool. The autism is the best part. I don't know how autistic you are, but if you go to a con you will likely find someone laughably more autistic than you. You obviously have some self awareness. Some of these weebs don't. You can dress up however you want in whatever jank costume you want and you will be accepted. If you are a virgin looking to loose your virginity there are plenty of like minded folks. I go for the decent looking girls sitting by a wall by themselves. It's a good strategy. If you can manage a conversation you are as good as laid.
