So what's everyone doing today? And can somebody tell me what's so great about this day? Nobody on my block decorated, and it's raining.

I went to my Toastmasters meeting today and some people dressed up. I had a Robin Hood cap from the summer and wore that.

Zombie is the easiest costume. All you need to do is rip up some old clothes, smear them with fake blood and you're good to go. The president of my TM group did that today.
 
This Halloween will be dreadful for me since there aren't much trick or treaters coming to my neighbor especially when its compared to ten to fifteen years ago. Not much kids come to my neighborhood for candy. Just around ten, twenty, or maybe thirty-five come. Honestly, I'd feel better off using the time to write my research paper and study for a quiz I have tomorrow which I'm sure I'll fail.

I thought I was the only one that noticed this, like in the past few years, Halloween has become less and less.....fun and relevant.
like now It doesn't feel like halloween anymore, you don't see little kids running around in costues, spooky music playing or just that Autumn feeling with pumpkins evreywhere.
I think this started happening around 2008 when the Recession hit in and people had to save money, that and with this new digital age most people don't go out anymore and just stay indoor on their I-phones or whatver socializing through Social Media.

I think the same is Happening to Christmas
 
Sadly, I'll be stuck in class this evening. Plus, I can't stay up late because I have work early in the morning

Well then I guess we can blame technology and the internet because it's making us autistic like Chris :ween: :alog: . To be serious though, it is sad that it doesn't feel like Halloween. Not much Autumn feeling or seeing kids in costumes does hurt the spirit of Halloween. At least here at the college I attend, there are some people dressed for Halloween. Saw a lady dressed as Fluttershy and a couple people dressed as Red and Ash from Pokemon. Even saw a guy dressed up as Gumby.
 
I'm hanging out with friends who want to ignore Halloween. (:_(
