Fun fact though: Louis Cunningham is actually from a royal family. His mother is Princess Charlotte Of Luxembourg, so maybe that's a big reason he got that role.
Louis XIV was said to be handsome with a full head of black curls. The Norwood Reaper came knocking and he wore curly wigs instead. IIRC he, like Julius Caesar, bitterly complained about the loss (Caesar hated going grey and dyed his hair).

Elvis had such an unusual face. He had that profile Greek statues have where there’s a straight line between forehead and nose and almost no dip at the nasal bridge. It’s really unusual to find faces like that.

It was either him or Spike. But Whedon did the whole Spike trying to rape Buffy thing (which messed up Marsters so much he got it put in his contract that he'd never do a scene like that ever again) and they had a toxic relationship, so it's Angel all the way.
