has anyone else started realizing just how censored the mainstream internet is?

for a long time, i mainly used google to search for things, until i switched to duckduckgo. it has a lot of really bizarre websites that Google no doubt removes from the search results preemptively.
some Normie ones for our standards would be Encyclopedia dramatica. its not on the first page, but the wikipedia link for it is the very first result. like how is it not a relevant result. oddly enough, Kiwifarms is still the first result on google for itself.
i also found some weird websites like a Neo nazi site dedicated to racist original content. a lot of it is parody songs like moonman.
then i found a site that talks about according to publishes articles, six million jews died on 8 different occasions before ww2 ever started.
so like 48 million jews.

I don't recall where I read it (and ironically I can't find the original page anymore) but somebody did a study on Reddit where they would reply to random comments with a single link and a message along the lines of "this comment has a link that will inform me when you click it".

A huge percentage of replies (I want to say 70 percent but again I am going off memory since I can't find the source) were users clicking the link almost instantly after he posted the comment, waiting a few minutes, then replying with something completely unrelated. The guy doing the study concluded based on this that most reddit users were bots.

What makes it really interesting is that one can openly buy reddit accounts and reddit upvote bots with real money, it's not even a secret. So I am inclined to believe him.

Manipulating search engine algos alone, like Google does, gives the gubmint so much cover. The Ministry of Truth Wikipedia does half the Tribe's revisionism for them. That's not even touching Zogged out Google Image search results.

You're literally on one of the 5 websites on the internet that isn't censored.
A significant portion of the people who come here, do that to say the things they can't say anywhere else.
I'm willing to bet money that a lot of us have been banned from somewhere for just trying to have a conversation.
Of course we realize.

I've moved from duckduckgo for the same reason.
It's shocking how people will openly say duckduckgo is for neo-nazis and white nationalists only, but don't realize it uses google's shit and is censored almost as badly. lol. I use Yandex when I really want to find something but that's probably the next to go, if it hasn't already.

Some people just want to drop N bombs without being banned too!

You know the saying the winners write history, that was easy to do when there was no 'instant communication' networks, it's harder to do in the world we now live in, not impossible, just harder.

In the context of the above, I'm guessing you don't know about how 'they' change the spelling of words, or change the words entirely, to manipulate what information can be found and linked together?

Example is global warming and climate change.

Years ago there were quite a few websites that had all the old weather charts from decades ago, and they would then do comparisons with the 'new' old weather charts, where the information has been manipulated, under the guise of 'oh but the technology is better able to measure shit'. How that means that the readings taken back then were incorrect and needed changing is beyond me, but I'm just a dummy that thinks 'they know it all'...anyway, these websites were foundations of information without the political manipulation that we see on all websites that have to do with the subject. So they changed it to climate change, and boom, that is what everyone now searches for, and no one searches for global warming, hence that information is no longer coming up, AND can no longer be put in people's faces to wake them up to the reality of the agenda.

As an aside on that topic, some of the websites do still exist, some have changed over to new formats, they are still very difficult to find, and often are stumbled over when you least expect it.

So anyway, the changing of spelling, and meanings, isn't always as simple as 'get woke go broke', when they say 'g and co' control the information highway, they truly mean it in a literal sense.

It's why talking to 'old people' is actually more important now than ever, to find the links you need to know the old terms.

It's also why 'ARCHIVE EVERYTHING' is a thing.

Whatever hope of the internet making the world a better place was fucked in the ass, fucked in the mouth, had it's throat slit, fucked in the ass and mouth again for good measure and then buried in a shallow grave that was then pissed on.

We started asking questions they didn't want asked and that was that.

The New York Times ran an article just today on how Duck Duck Go is only used by Nazi white supremacists who want to destroy whatever.

None of this is new, it's just more and more blatant.
What I find most disturbing about this is that idea that "I read it on the internet so it must be true" is no longer seen as something to be mocked, but a goal that needs to be achieved.
