A fairly common thing to do to someone who creates art (especially someone who creates bad art) is to parody it in some way, shape or form. This has roots in Ancient Greece and continues to the modern day, with people mocking other people's ideas, then getting mocked for their mockeries of other people's ideas, and so on and so forth. These parodies run the gamut from hilarious to preachy and uninteresting, and well done parody is some of the best literature or art that exists at all.

What are your favorite examples of this? My favorite off of the top of my head is when this one furry made a donut steel yelling "fuck the police" and some artist took that statement extremely literally. If someone could find that I'd probably die laughing again.

To this day I still despise two of the biggest hacks in Hollywood, Jason Friedberg and Aaron Selzter for single-handedly killing off the spoof genre. I recently watched Disaster Movie and Meet The Spartans just to see if they were as bad as I remember 10 years ago, and they are somehow worse. It's some of the laziest garbage, and I guess the one good thing is that they've stopped making these movies, but I don't foresee an actually good spoof movie in the vein of Airplane or the Zucker brothers ever getting greenlit in the future.

I think this clip of them doing commentary for Date Movie is really telling, that they know these movies are cynical unfunny cashgrabs, and they don't give a shit.

I thought this was going to be about A Wyatt Man cartoons and parodies of them.
