love the new killzone stratagem weapon

Way too many cliquish assholes who just hate new players and will brag about playing the game with friends but not invite you to play with them.

Dont know why randoms insist on playing 1 game and quitting when you get more medals for sticking around for 3 and leaving.
...Bro what are you talking about lmao. Just host your own matches, throw an SOS and get a full lobby in seconds. Not everyone has the time to dedicate a full 2 hours doing an operation in one sitting, but if you do it's all the more reason to host yourself.
So what's the best loadout for the illuminate?
Realistically, the machine gun is the best weapon for Illuminates currently. It kills Voteless, it kills Overseers, it even kills Harvesters. But that gets boring fast.

A good Illuminate loadout needs to be able to do crowd control well, and be able to sufficiently punch up to fight Harvesters. Overseers are only lightly armored, they can be killed by light armor penetrating weapons, though they take reduced damaged. Medium armor penetration melts them. The thing is that Overseers are actually very fragile, they are just very hard to consistently hit because they keep moving.

Sickle seems like an easy choice for dealing with the intinite hordes, it is. But it has poor sustained damage output because it comparatively 'reloads' very slowly. A Dagger in your secondary slot can stave off Voteless while the Sickle cools. On the other hand, the senator one-shots Overseer heads. They are both great choices. The Blitzer can stop hordes dead with ease and stunlocks Overseers but suffers from poor range.

Machine Gun, HMG, and Laser Cannon are probably the meta support weapons. They kill Voteless hordes, Overseers and Harvesters alike. Arc Thrower is good but suffers from weird hit detection problems on the deformable roads. EAT and quasar, spear and recoilless are bad because of the armor gating mechanics of Illuminates. The commando however is very effective against Harvesters. It one-shots their legs. Very satisfying, very effective. Autocannon/AMR are both functional, one-shotting Overseer heads and capable of dealing with Harvesters. Flamethrowers are difficult to utilize but I guess they shred Harvesters due to bypassing armor and dealing damage directly to their small main health pool. I can't vouch for it though.

As for strategems, low cooldown strategems with crowd control capabilities are good. MG sentries, gas, precision, cluster bombs, gatling strikes, etc. Harvesters are practically immune to strategems right now (probably due to a configuration issue with how their body parts calculate incoming explosive damage, hulks used to have a similar problem), but they are easy enough to kill with the right equipment.

And any grenades will do, but I have had the most luck with leading Voteless hordes through incendiary and gas grenades by throwing them at my feet while on the run.

AMR is disgusting against the illuminate, it's an inconsistent hitbox but it will one-two shot the overseers to the head, one shot the drones that call in reinforcements, and then if you shoot the joint between the tripods leg and main body it dies in 4 shots. all you need after that are tools to clean up the hoard and deal with spawners/shields.

Just started playing this today, it's a lot of fun but EDF spoiled me with the batshit insanity each mission could get. Still this game is better to dive in casually for a couple hours. Hopefully they continue to support this game for years to come as it does have some good potential.

The community so far is good but did have one shitty match with team killers. The new faction is fun as are the bugs but haven't gotten to the robots yet. I felt retarded as I only found where to unlock stuff a couple hours in, felt like the game had worse progression than launch Halo Infinite but it was my fault.

Anybody ever Characterize their Divers? I put the White Truth Enforcers cape with the vanilla B0-1 Tactical and pretend my divers are all like 17-18 years old, recruited from Politically Reliable families.
my ship is called "Triumph of The Regime". The idea is that each Diver is a triumph of the regimes methods.
I think I'd be pretty good at writing Helldivers lore. The trick is balance. If you get too campy, people won't take you seriously but this isn't 40K either. There should be a cold calculation behind every decision, Like the Helldivers themselves.
Sometimes I ponder the lore while doing something mind numbing or tedious.
I like to use that "Donate 0.05 % of your salary to the Nature Preservation Zones" cape. Makes my Divers feel like they contribute to preserving the natural beauty of Super Earth.

The reactions on Twitter to the Helldivers secret level episode does my heart good.

Especially the dunking on their official account's post about it.
That bright yellow helldiver reminds me of this

24.webp

promotional image that fills me with an impotent autistic rage because it has great helmet/armor color combinations that don't exist in the game.
Otherwise I have no comment other than that I would have preferred to have gone my whole life without knowing whatever 'secret level' is.

The Killzone stuff is crazy expensive and reeks of the Snoy Suits trying to grab more pennies after they bought out the Good Goy Game Awards. Not to mention the unique armor passive that is loads better than the other stuff on top of weapons and goddamn strats.

Gotta get that cheat engine the other kiwi posted, not dropping cash on this trash.

Who drops cash after buying? I've gotten everything in game just by playing and getting the supercredits. Not even using that cheat engine.

He was goofin', it's not called Bitsquid, that's the game engine. Fearless is the first one that comes up, so it's probably that?

I think what you've said in combination with an actual weapon having been in the super store recently (stun baton), it looks like the mtx are ramping up.

I mean, yelling "Stop! Or we shoot!" is just retarded coming from freaking Helldivers. Especially when they proceed to not shoot her and instead stumble around like Disney Stormtroopers. The negress didn't cooperate and hand over the alien thing either. And then there's the ending with the bugs appearing. The Helldivers should've opened fire on sight.

There is only one answer to this chaos. This is heinous propaganda misrepresenting Super Earth's brave heroes. These are not Helldivers, they are disguised saboteurs of Liberty.

You wont be able to find random slop or use it unless you can disable the anti-cheat, or bypass it entirely, I use a hypervisor

I dont like how theyre releasing the killzone stuff across 2 weeks in the superstore, you are basically paying 4000 credits for a 2 page warbond

Yea, this honestly pisses me off. Between the jeet, Sony and Arrowheads own Swedish incompetence, it's a miracle we're still able to farm SC. I bet they can't fix it because it'd fuck up ALL POI generation.
