"well you don't HAVE to pay/get them!" yeah I shouldn't have to pay for content they trickle down and spread out behind super credit paywalls. It's not about affording it it's asking if the equivalent of 4 warbonds is worth the same as the entire game. Superstore prices are even more abysmal.

“just play organically” as if playing the game normally magically shoves 1,000 credits down your ass, the spawn rate is abysmal the higher in difficulty you go, punishing you for progressing, and they patched the glitch where you could very easily just run the same map again, almost like they don't want you to get those for free.

You sound like a family member of mine who buys the complete edition of any game for 120$-150$, only to never touch the game.

I don't think you're a retard, but you're probably younger than 25 and can't think of how good things used to be. I remember the golden age of Valve Source games of free content that still continues to this day and how much free fun I had. The only thing you know is goyslop and having your balls stomped on, that's why you're like this.

You seriously brought up Valve, the company that invented loot boxes, as an example of a "good" company?

They also gave us steamworks, steam workshop, family sharing so you can test out a game from another person's copy before buying it.

locking weapons/maps behind extra money and unboxing unusuals/CS2 knifes aren't the same thing.

For TF2, If you go onto scrap.tf, use achievement servers unlocks, or just play the game normally, you can unlock all super fast, but that doesn't matter because stock weapons are the best. Most Source games let you host a server on your computer or rent a server, filled with all the custom maps, scripts, weapons you want. Valve isn't in their golden age anymore and fucked up by inventing lootboxes but they've still got a good track record.

These two things aren't the same.

I think you're retarded. I remember 20 years ago. It was console gaymers paying like five bucks monthly for COD MW. PC players got expansions and server executables. Maybe five updates in a year or so. Final patch if they released a Goty or gold edition. Usually no more content and about 12-40h in a $20-40 expansion. I'm still not bored with the eruptor and I have more hours than that with it.

This will be my last post on this subject. We are shitting up the thread.

If it wasn't for the autistic cheap speds with high expectations, you'd be forced to make a PSN account and login everyday as well as pay 4000 SC (40$) for the killzone bundles and 4000(40$) for the halo warbond which would also be timed.

now stop shitting on people with standards and go back to bankrolling the game while I play for free.

Been having fun grinding the control group and halo war bonds, excited for Sep 2. The halo smg has been fun to use.

Oh fuck I haven't seen the store items, the armor looks sick as fuck but to be honest I mistook it for a Destiny Hunter skin or something at a glance. The machete looks fucking sweet, finally a more savage and scary looking sword that I will buy but won't use.

Wondering if the new AR will be good or shit. And if the Fire EAT still has the same destructive force as the base one.

Honestly I feel like the amount of grinding required to get the warbonds for free isn't as bad as people conceptualize. I'd been at like 10 SC for 2 months and was able to grind out enough to buy both the ODST and Dust Devils bonds (on top of buying one or two pieces of junk from the Super Store I never picked up) with like 20-25 or so missions respectively.

Most of said "missions" were also >4 minutes long because I'd just clean the POIs and then dip to the next one, so it literally took me like... one day of messing around with the xbox cadets each.


Like it could certainly be better and MTX of any kind are still gay, don't get me wrong, but I feel like this is still the least predatory monetization I've seen in basically any monetized game in the past 15 years. It's genuinely not that bad.

I just got beta footage of the "Into The Unjust" update.

Edit: did they buff the laser sentry? It might be my upgrades but I remember hearing about how bad it was.
