Some devs also simply take money from "publishers" that helps them funding their project or get the marketing drum rolling. If you tell me there wasn't a decent amount of YouTubers payed off by Sony for playing and clipping this game for PR, I would say you're exactly as stupid as they want their customers.

They could have just picked a less aids publisher like THQ Nordic. It's strange that an Eurofag company picked a Jap publisher. Doubly so when that Jap publisher is Sony.

There's just a teeny tiny little issue in delisting games on Steam. If a game got assigned to your Steam account, be it by store purchase/giveaway or CD key, you can still install it and play it.

For example, my Steam account has SpinTires. It's been delisted for years now, but I got my copy from a CD key. I can still install it and play it, even though it's store page is gone. And all the workshop content is still alive, and people keep adding to it. I can't get any DLC's for it without piracy, but I can still play what I had assigned to my account.

My account also has the old GTA Trilogy you cannot buy anymore which I paid for, and I can still install it and play it. I also have freebies like DiRT 3 that have been since delisted, but again, can install and play them.

This means that all the people that paid for Helldivers 2 in the delisted countries can still install and play it, but due to Snoy's rapist mentality they can't. If anything, people in the countries that have been delisted are even more likely to get a refund from Steam if they use the forced legal agreements, and the fact that they have been locked out of a game they paid for.

I am worried for this game. I am trying not to be too cynical, but I think that Sony might not budge. Simply because they already got their money from a massive amount of sales. But the refunds from PC sales are perhaps the only way this will actually hurt Sony. I want to remain optimistic, but this is also the same company that is making this retarded decision in the first place.

The hilarious part is that this would all be a non-issue if PSN was just supported in more places, and did not require PII.
If we lived in where that was the case, it would be as simple as:

What's even funnier is that online capability for most of sony's things used to be free. I remember back in the day with PS3 you didn't have to pay anything. Meanwhile Sony takes that away and these retards still defend them. Amazing.

Well the CMS they hired are fucking retarded for sure but this isn't helping Arrowheads case that it was 100% a Sony decision.

The other is....Arrowhead should have known better to use the carrot not the stick for this. After the massive success of the game the best way forward would have been to announce a free warbond (or weapon/cape/etc) for PC people that signed up for PSN Network. Every level of management from Arrowhead to Sony dropped the ball on this one and unless Sony backs off I really do wonder how many the numbers are gonna drop May 30th.

Or, hear me out on this one, get yourself something nice and tangible for that 40$, like a mug or a nice meal, and then pirate some games to play for free. The only way you can tell Snoy to fuck off is if you actively refuse to consume their product. The grey market key thing will give them the message that people still want to play it and they're fine with giving Snoy more power.

Besides the review bombing, make fucking sure that the player count goes down. Otherwise, you're sending the same message that people who were boycotting Modern Warfare 2 were sending:

It's not just about the money, it's also about showing Snoy that you won't play by their rules. Helldivers 2 was a success thanks to the Steam playerbase. Take that away from them too, make their playerbase numbers plummet on top of the financial impact. Don't give in and make a PSN account with a grey market key like a nigger cattle. If you do, you get what you fucking deserve and you deserve even worse ass raping in the future.
