It's completely insane how many retards are coming out of the woodwork god-defending every nerf Arrowhead has made while claiming "oh yeah dude, I totally do diff 9/10 bugs with the default liberator and pistol and the time and never have issues, you're just bad!" or talking about how the Breaker Incendiary was overpowered, then commenting on how they always use the autocannon, without a hint of irony.

Is there a lore reason for why the subreddit is filled with the biggest cocksuckers imaginable? I'll see one post talking about how they dont like shit getting nerfed and an hour later I'll see a dozen posts where these faggots piss and shit themselves due to light criticism of the game.
The lore reason for why the subbreddit is the way it is quite simple. Redditors are very similar to the terminds in the since that they are a mindless hivemind that only exist for one purpose. In this case, their one purpose is defend the devs because the devs have similar interests to them (furry porn).

What was the point of making the crossbow one-handed? It does literally nothing to change the fact that it feels strange/kind of bad to use. This patch is such a let down.

SG-225IE Breaker Incendiary:

After multiple changes to the fire damage, the Incendiary Breaker quickly became one of the most powerful weapons in the game, as it absolutely dominated the Terminid frontline and is a bit too reliable when facing the bugs, overshadowing the other weapons. By increasing the recoil and reducing the maximum number of magazines we intend to make Incendiary Breaker more demanding for good ammo economy, while keeping its immense power intact.
I don't think I've ever played a game that tried to trash my enjoyment this hard over a few months. Between this and the flamethrower getting absolutely trashed"fixed" I'm expecting them to fully go foward with nerfing the Commando's ability to destroy buildings like they're teasing. Can't allow fun shit after all.

Warbond is out. Cooker is a worse Slugger (it only has light armour penetration, and the DoT isn't strong enough to snuff out medium targets in a reasonable time) - outclassed by Incendiary Breaker or the Slugger. The primary flamethrower is...barely mediocre? The stream looks like the old flamer's, and I think it penetrates the crowd like the old flamer did, but it doesn't cook charger legs - I think they nerfed the tertiary flamethrower to make this stand out more, which is egregious for those who can't afford the warbond (or liked the old flamethrower stratagem better). The damage is like 2/3rds of the tertiary flamethrower's damage, so it takes too long to kill hunters particularly; seems to be more of a low-tier chaff cleaner that shits the bed with anything tougher than the warriors. It's better than the flamethrower support weapon in its current state, which is fucking retarded, but still kinda garbo.

Fire armour works great, though. Everything else, I need to unlock. And no, I didn't see the napalm orbital anywhere yet.

So you're saying if the module for fire damage applied it would be about the same as the regular support flamethrower.

Smart guys over in balance. It seems Pilestedt didn't wrangle his tards/Alexus enough to beat it into their skulls.

Yes, you are exactly right. It would feel just like the flamethrower pre-nerf (if you didn't have the fire boosting module). But, since it's not a strategem, it doesn't get the bonus so it's weak as shit. Fuck, even the fuel count in the canister feels the exact same.

What's up with arrowhead nerfing shit. It's so gay. Are the npcs bitching to them or something. I was thinking of downloading it again, but it looks like they shat the bed. Again.
They want the game to be this intense, gruelling game were teamwork is necessity instead of an option. They then see people largely go off on their own, or in some cases beat max difficulty missions entirely solo and get ass-mad. They then come to the conclusion that the only way to deal with this "problem" is to nerf the most commonly use weapons (i.e. Railgun, Flamethrower, Incendiary Breaker, standard Breaker, Eruptor etc.) instead of actually making objectives harder.

There's also their little spread sheets that show that some weapons are way more used than others. This in combination with their weird balancing philosophy and general butthurt towards a significant chunk of the player base leads to them nerfing popular weapons instead of buffing shit ones..

It's not a(n actually) competitive game like Dota or CS where any balance should be targeted at the absolute highest tier of play. Skill should factor in as if something is broken at the highest tier, then unless it relies on enemy density (for effect or value) or some other factor that only exists in harder difficulties, it's going to be even more broken further down the difficulties. The knock on effect both upwards and downwards is always disruptive. It hardly matters in the grand scheme but if there's ever a patch when people can't autistically solo helldives or super helldives or whatever they shit out in the future, that's when the game dies for real. Even during peak Alexus niggertry people were still soloing helldives.

Secondary flamethrower is near identical to the first, save the lower range and canister size. Apparently the booster is the equivalent to the explosion of the incendiary grenade without any flames AKA completely useless. This warbond is the new worst warbond. Polar Patriot is better than it, and that's saying something.

Polar Patriot has the Tenderizer, which is the best Assault Rifle in the game.

PP has two good weapons and nothing else. This has one good gun and a hyper specific armor set. Just raw numbers alone, PP outclasses this.

I know people who don't play HD2 ask me if it was true AH nerfed fire days before they tried to sell fire weapons. The idiocy of AH is so strong that people who don't even play the game heard about it.

Ignoring nerfs, the new enemies are terrible. The impaler was a massive mistake and I don't know why the fuck they included that hunk of fucking shit. Everyone hates being ragdolled but all the new enemies do just that. Complete AIDS. I think I'm starting to really hate this game now.

This is the one armor perk I would really love. You seem to be stuck in a decent amount of end lag after you land before you can stand up, the same can be said for when you take a fall that damages you but only makes you plant your feet and squat for a moment. Armor that reduces the recovery time from falls or ragdolls I think would be huge for something like bots where you get tossed around like a cheap whore. Although this would compete with explosion resistance which has saved me more times than I can count.

This seems more like a perk that would fit helmets as a thing. Something like "Self-Orientation Guidance System" which also can be paired for better jet pack steering.

The primary flamethrower is neat for the fact that I can now carry both a flamethrower and a launcher. Couple this with either of the 2 stronger pistols to cover medium range and you've got quite a versatile terminid build.

Edit: What's the verdict on the secondary flame pistol? Preferably from the POV of a fellow flamethrower enjoyer
