I have never seen such a dumbshit playerbase before. The devs literally spelled it out, and yet they still can't figure it out. How did they even make the money to play this game? View attachment 6855785
Nobody cares about the fake ass galactic war, the dude in charge of it is just gonna make up whatever he wants anyway. It's clearly not like it was in the first game in which Super Earth got overrun pretty quickly if nobody worked together so I just pick bot planets with as little modifiers as possible.

Absolutely gave up with the "galactic war" I just help with the major objective a little because my retardation compels me, and then just do whatever I want wherever I want. So long as I'm smashing the enemies of Super Earth get off my dick. 😎

The galactic war is for larping. If they finish fleshing out all the narratives for the factions and add events to their home worlds with boss fights then I think they might have the map run on autopilot like it did in the first game where it's truly player driven. But until then the story will be used to justify new things showing up in the game.

I don't like wasting my time and want to at least have some semblance of progress. The M.Os advance the storyline and unlock new material/equipment based off the storyline (i.e. no gas mines a month ago because bug divers are retarded)

Going to some buttfuck planet because players hate adversity, just put the difficulty down and still help the people progressing the game.

But not competing the one order efficiently 2 days before because nobody cares is next tier stupid.

Pssh, you are like little baby... check this out!

Arrowhead please, a CRUMB of content
Hoping a new Warbond comes out some time soon. I got some wild theories of when the next "content drop" might happen though.
Multiple leaks have been coming out about the new enemy for the Illuminate, the Illusionist. I think they purposefully made the current major order of defending planets from the Illuminate impossible to force an escalation so they can introduce more enemies from the Dark Fluid blackhole. Along with that and the last Warbond only have one melee weapon in it, I have a feeling they don't want to add in any more proper guns yet as they might be introducing the further weapon customization such as camos and attachments.

I got all the videos and pictures from IronS1ghts on Twitter, and because of that a lot of his leaks get taken down, so I don't have any video of proper weapon customization.

I was wondering what was happening. Each planet defense fails but all the planets are still in super earth control. It’s almost like they invade for 6 hours then move across the galaxy to a new planet. Maybe the next content drop will be liberation missions instead of just defense?

Ingame advisory states they have added "counterfeit sample detection measures", whatever that means. Guess I'll find out by loading in with the super credit light beam mod.

Also, I noticed in the ship management screen that it states your ship's faction. Shouldn't that be pretty obvious and a completely un-needed UI element if we are only ever supposed to be aligned with super earth... unless they plan to add additional playable factions? Are there factions in the lore outside of super earth's purview but still neutral or aligned with 'divers? If not, I don't see any way about it other than that this hints at pvp or at least some kind of adversarial faction that is against super earth that will be playable. I could be reading into the existence of UI elements too much, but I want pvp and I don't care that the game isn't balanced for it.

I still use the lightbeam mod and it doesn't do anything other than modify the model, I think they mean cheated/spawned in samples from hackers and such.

This game needs a serious Galactic War overhaul IMO. Its too apparent after playing for a few MO's that you really have 0 effect on it whatsoever. I'm not arguing for the ability to single handedly take planets or anything. You really should though, be able to push progress with a few hundred people doing Super Helldives on fringe planets instead of wasting your time to contribute to pissing in an Ocean of piss.
I don't really care if at the end of the night it was just a different stalemate of us taking the East Front while they take the West Front back and forth, but it would be nice to see the fronts move from time to time instead of fighting over the same goddamn 4-6 planets since fucking April.
Every time we make any progress into any sector they just move the MO into a different Sector and we lose it the next day.

There is the Chaos Diver faction online who have differing opinions to how Super Earth's High Command are running things.

Then there also the various Helldiver sub factions like the Death Korps of Creek and specialist units like trenchdivers where the "ship management screen" would be useful to signify affiliation.

Chaos Diver autists are kill on sight. They only formed because reddit crybabies wanted to be spiteful to the devs for the state of the game. Within a month of them coming up with a name for themselves those massive patches came out overhauling everything and made them look stupid.

Perhaps that's where a future clan system could be implemented. That said, I would assume it would be relatively limited like the current ship naming system in regards to names.

Then again, it at least would fit the setting in the sense that you'd have your Super Earth Helldiver Reserve as your generic non-clan and the rest would be something like 1st Malevelon Creek Viper Commandos or 37th Meridia Polar Patriots or 21st Hellmire Helldivers. Emblem would then be created out of your unit number, planet name, and unit designation. Final touch would be your choice of primary color for the patch.

Not talking about player made factions like the gayos divers.

Incredible, thank you Sweden.
Perhaps one day you'll finish the game I paid full fucking price for.
He saw the balance team was fucking everything up, came back and righted the ship and will now piss off and enjoy his hard earned cash.

As long as they keep balancing by making shit weapons better and I'm happy.

I came into the game when that energy pulse gun and the breaker incendiary was meta and kept playing until everything i enjoyed was nerfed then I came back when the illuminate invaded. I've mostly played the illuminate and there are like ten or more decently viable guns including my favorite the Eruptor. Things are great
