If it's any consolation...they just put a finished APC in the files. It's there, ready to go whenever.i bought at launch and had fun 200 hours then the updates started crawling and being worthless sidegrades and cosmetic changes of stuff i already have. like an assault rifle but 7% different than stock wow cool.
so every couple months i look at what they've added and im waiting for something cool like a tank or an APC.
nothing! its 2 years and the latest update gives you a 500kg bomb sidegrade. oh you aim it differently now. very cool.
i dont know how people play this its a fake live service game. All these games, the devs decide they dont want to make a video game anymore, they want to become a balancing factory instead and they arent even good at it. Fatshark studios is across the street from these helldivers devs and theyre doing the exact same thing. 3 year old live service game that has had like 3 actually new weapons and 1 new class and the rest of the time theyre doing retarded balancing changes nobody cares about.
are you guys HYPED!!! and gonna put in another 30 hours for the jetpack sidegrade thats diagonal instead of horizontal whoa dude and theres a new armor pen tweak on 2 guns im so hyped
How are you supposed to play this faction? I took a break from the game around the time they came out and I haven’t figured them out yet.
The guys with the jet packs soak way too much damage from both sickle and coyote. Should I be going with a shotgun? Eruptor? Then you have the giant flesh abominations and the stingrays. Rockets for both? I used to run the AMR regularly against bots; does it have utility against the squids?
Did a squid dive on my lunch break. I found the eruptor unsatisfying: it’s useless against the flesh mob and if you miss a floating dude you’re reloading like a chump.
Ended up adopting the “strategems and run” tactic and it served me well enough. Double edge sickle obviates the need for a machine gun. Light armor and plenty of cover means only occasional death. I still find them the most difficult faction but it seems that’s a popular opinion.
Thanks for the advice fellow Kiwidivers.
I find that the Blitzer doesn't. Usually. People give you a fair shake but the cone of arcing is really weird. It seems like it likes to leash onto one or two enemies at close proximity as you may expect but then other times I've had bugs 5m ahead of me and one random arc shot out at 70 degrees and nipped a friend.this is guaranteed to get you kicked from a game
neither does the de escalator, but the arc dog absolutely will as it had pitbull-like reflexes when it comes to teamkillingI find that the Blitzer doesn't.
Again, YOU ASK FIRST AND EXPLAIN FIRST. Don't jump in on random people with this loadout unless you want people to subject you to a field execution.this is guaranteed to get you kicked from a game
The Tesla Tower is hilarious if you have Electrical Conduit, because being prone under one suddenly becomes the safest place in the fucking game. Even if the Eye of God falls upon you, it will do only chip damage.I find that the Blitzer doesn't. Usually. People give you a fair shake but the cone of arcing is really weird. Tesla towers though absolutely people are traumatized by those since launch.
Yeah I swear going prone used to not stop it or maybe I'm hallucinating and it did but I recently discovered you can crawl to get your items if you happened to get team killed by one, and it's always amusing because you're going super careful baby mode to creep in and get your stuff back. The Tesla Tower is hilarious if you have Electrical Conduit, because being prone under one suddenly becomes the safest place in the fucking game. Prone around it always worked.Yeah I swear going prone used to not stop it or maybe I'm hallucinating and it did but I recently discovered you can crawl to get your items if you happened to get team killed by one, and it's always amusing because you're going super careful baby mode to creep in and get your stuff back.
That aside the thing is monstrous and I want more people to use it. It's not great everywhere like most defensives but any mission where you absolutely have to hunker down (extract assets being the premier because it's entirely defense) like assets, ICBM, raise the flag, and particularly against bugs the thing is going Old Teatament on them.
That was the goal all along.this is guaranteed to get you kicked from a game
You thought you had me but I was the host the whole time.this is guaranteed to get you kicked from a game
I tried that so that I could run the art dog, and then every time I waited the 5 minutes for my team to populate in they just ran out all of my reinforcements and then left before we completed a single objectiveYou thought you had me but I was the host the whole time.
I've found that wearing any backpack dog that isn't parked will still get hit and arc to you even if you are prone. Doesn't happen if you park it however.Prone around it always worked.
The problem is that people would go prone after they already angered the lightning god, or got murked by an arc jump after the initial hit nailed something else.
Yeah, Sparky doesn't care, the Tesla Tower is the only one that sticks to its own rules.I've found that wearing any backpack dog that isn't parked will still get hit and arc to you even if you are prone. Doesn't happen if you park it however.
Maybe it's GameGuard raping your system because it doesn't know when to turn off.I don't know what the issue is but this is the only game I've played in the last 5 years since I've had this PC that has caused it to completely hard crash where I will have to press my power button to reset it. I know I'm not the only one who has this issue and Arrowhead needs to fix this shit. I keep thinking I'm gonna get on the game and play an operation only for my computer to freeze and black screen about 40 minutes in.
They will probably make that a DLC, ngl.Where's my armor customization AH
A buggy shitty mess. Check back in a month to see if they patched itHad my eye on this game since the Halo collab and now that the games on sale I'm tempted to buy. What am I in for?
I'll add the caveat. IF you can overlook the bugs and crashes (or are lucky enough to not run into them), the game itself is pretty kino. Not many games can be as effortlessly cinematic as HD2 with just gameplay.A buggy shitty mess. Check back in a month to see if they patched it
