Get fucking mogged, Arrowhead. Unfortunately, you have to join the devs' shitcord and apply to get access to it. They seem to be running it on their own servers and creating custom Major Orders, among other things.

How long do you think Sony and AH shoots a cease and desist at the modders because the modders exposed that AH are just fucking lazy and incompetent that a small group of autists in their mothers basement fueled by Doritos and monster energy and a bit of free time gave the Helldiver community everything they’ve been BEGGING AH for years in the course of a couple weekends?

To be fair, I believe AH actually said that they did test it out, but the performance were so bad that they never explored the idea seriously. (Which I can believe, the engine already has trouble keeping a whole slew of Diff 10 enemies on you, nevermind an entire new faction.)

We'll see if the modders solve that lol.
 
I randomly dropped into a hacked lobby where the host had spawned in a bunch of SEAF infantry with guard dog drones. Didn't stick around though because I was after rare samples for ship upgrades.

Also Super Samples are no longer called "super uranium" anymore. Guess that changes the lore of the floaty metal blob things.

At least this gives me a modern, popular game to point to (Payday2 and WoW were my previous examples) when subwits tell me it's 'literally impossible to pirate or make private servers for online service games'. Not that they'll accept it - they never did in the past, even in the before-times when the corpo-simps weren't out en masse for Stop Killing Games - but at least it's yet another example on the pile.

The real smart thing is to do what I believe Sega did with Sonic Mania where those were outside fan rom developers who they hired on to make the game, since clearly they're super proficient in the system if they can essentially fork the entire game and make it their own. Of course stability and bugs are a thing but they got a good beta going in under a month.

HOWEVER. They're probably not black or retarded enough to be considered by the swedes for hire, and the humility would be too much (more than being one of the original examples of a white European country flooded by rapeniggers).
