It's such a shame because there's hardly any way to get a person to look outside themselves if they aren't naturally inclined to do so. Some can change with time, others are stuck or too insecure to ever look outside themselves. I can name many examples in my own life of women who don't have these compulsions he believes, but as soon as I would do so in front of him he'd deny it and claim he can read their minds and I was mistaken. The formula confirms all the painful experiences he personally had without making him feel bad about a flaw or two he might have, thus it works and covers all of life.

He's got a bit of a weirdness about him where he can't seem to connect with others. Like a touch of tism or a minor hiccup in theory of mind. I feel this for both women and men he interacts with, at least on Twitter. It's hard to describe, like the sense that he only engages with conversation if he can slot himself in the shoes of the topic. Comversations don't seem reciprocal, but that could be because of the lecture and debate culture of twitard.

I swear I'm not as much of an autist as this thread makes me appear. I'm simply a regular Kiwi who recently learned to clip and has taken Mr. math on as a personal project when @PaperRoads and a few others decided to start compiling an OP a few weeks back.

Like many, I discovered hoe_math's YT shortform content sometime in the fall of 2023 (he initially went viral in July of 2023 on TikTok, but I barely know what it is).

I watched his Lives semi-regularly in 2024. I also discovered and regularly followed his Twitter sometime later, intrigued at how much more unhinged, blackpilled and political it was compared to his regular stuff.

With the new OP, I've gone back to reviewing and clipping a lot of his initial Lives dating back to fall 2023. I'm currently around mid-Jan 2024.

Speaking of which, I noticed this week that hoe_math didn't hold a public Tuesday night Live for the first time in recent memory and appears to have fully went behind the YT membership paywall like he has been threatening for the last month or so.



The previous week he did a 1 hour Members only Live (with about 50 or so paying members reported) before doing a similar subsequent 1 hour public version.

His public Lives averaged between 300-1100 viewers. The archived one from Jan 10th, 2024 I was just listening to had 1100 viewers 2 1/2 hours in.

As there is still a full calendar year plus of old Lives to review and clip, I won't be becoming a member just for access to the contemporary ones (apparently the price of admission is only 99 cents/month at the lowest tier).

If any interested Kiwi has a membership and is willing to report any juicy tidbits from behind the paywall going forward, it would be appreciated.

Nothing he says is outright incorrect or extreme. I don't think relationships are quite as transactional as he makes them out to be, and women aren't nearly as shallow as he says, but he's not terribly off the mark.

Most young men are so emasculated that even if they took action on everything he says it would only get them somewhat close to what a normal man is supposed to be. I don't think he's likely to create any Andrew Tate types.

And I know that’s technically anecdotal but sounding alienated from normal life is a common problem with these exact influencers. And his cartoons are based on his own priors, not facts or data, so I don’t think it’s wrong to say this.

Just to start at the bottom his most consistent error is thinking men and women want opposite things from relationships. This is dumb for two reasons, for one you’re going to be generalizing to the point of unhelpfulness and for another human males and females are actually extremely cooperative among the animal kingdom. All of the alarm bells about relationships are misdiagnoses of married couples having fewer kids than they want. The idea is these guys teach incels how to talk to women to offset that but they’re just a different breed of failure. All they ever did was fuck skanks.

I think what you're noticing is that there are layers of obfuscation in relationships. Of course women don't go "Beep, boop, you lost your job so I'm dumping you." They go "I just don't feel it anymore, I need some space."

PUAs were/are decades ahead of "the science" when it comes to this stuff so of course there's no data.
