HOI4 Mod featuring ((OUR)) Favorite Imageboards, Internet Forums, Subreddits And INTERNET CONGLOMERATES as NATIONS - SVPER EVROPEAN AVTISM ALERT

I've been discussing this idea with a couple people on the /r/TNOMod Thread (https://kiwifarms.st/threads/r-tnomod-and-the-reddit-hoi4-modding-community.80516/) , and i think i am able to craft some kind of mod which gives all the major / even small imageboards, forums, subreddits and other internet communities a country, there would be WAR, Insane nuts LORE and cool shit, for now i've been working on a couple assets and i've already been able to put (1) nation together, HOWEVER me being a relatively new member to this place i need some ideas for the kiwifarms country, i don't really want to sit through hours of random youtube videos so i ask you to kinda give me ideas, and maybe theres some wikis where i can read a tad tad bit about kiwifarms?
But nevertheless this will be the thread ill post updates about the mod from now on.

Right now i am working on a SHARTY (soyjak.party) themed nation, it will feature a breathtaking crazy 10/10 blockbuster campaign where you go through a crusade to take over 4CHAN... And it might be the first playable nation since i know the most about it...

Funny enough when the TNO drama happened, I do remember that at some point the guy who made The Meme Order: Last Days of TNO made me leader of Ireland for God knows what reason. In all seriousness though I think your Idea currently is too big and too specific, trying to cover so many vastly different communities won't work, not without a massive team of autists each thoroughly invested and knowledgeable in the happenings of their home sites. Personally I would readjust and go for something more simple, basing a Hoi4 mod off the Internet is a idea that is ripe for content but you should probably lean into generalizations instead of trying to represent everyone, especially extremely niche communities.

Its a basic bitch Idea, but look at something like Youtube. Youtube could be a good stand-in for the US, the most powerful of the Websites while also having many sub factions within. You could have a Military focus tree referencing the Various guntubers and such, a political tree that can bring up political youtubers from both sides. Same goes with Facebook and Twitter. Trying to feature r/fuckcars as its own nation (just a example) wouldn't be interesting because its a one note subreddit, but if you had a Reddit nation with a focus tree line referencing FuckCars and its ideals that would work. Same goes for this site, you can't really make a nation out of the Stinkditch subfourm or even Beauty Parlor itself, but you could make a Kiwifarms nation with references to each in its focus tree.

Oh of course im not gonna make kiwifarms into like... Multiple nations, i think that when it comes to sub parts of certain communities only SOME things could be made into nations, maybe due to a specific culture or whatever.

I have never played that game but i have an idea of how it works, there are countries, but there are also certain ideologies the player and the AI can pick, yes? Considering the site's focus is on milking lolcows, my take is that you should make the kiwifarms have 4 ideologies:

1. Nullism, the default state of the site, where Null reigns as a dictator, his main features is that he allows for the milking of lolcows but to a reasonable degree and he is not that much of a partisian to any causes other than sometimes free speech. He also infringes on the freedom of his populace by making arbitrary changes to site that are sometimes disliked, nevertheless, he is popular among the user base.
2. Aloggism, the threat of Aloggism is always present on kiwifarms, it basically consists on nullism but edgier, where the user base can obsessively milk the 'cows without a limit and thus they have much more freedom, but as Null is gone the site is barely functional, shittier and whoever calls the shots now is garuanteed to be disliked or not as liked as Null. The main populace of the site is replaced by zoomers.
3. Troonism, where troons have finally dropped kiwifarms and now they rule supreme over its ashes. Instead of making fun of everyone now you are only allowed to milk right leaning people, in fact, everyone that hates troons is considered a lolcow. The milk is not of any quality and as Keffals is now the supreme ruler the site, this is now a glorified grooming operation.
4. Feminism, if this ideology is adopted, it means the lolcow.farms trannies females now rule the 'farms. They hate the male users, so many of us are compelled to leave, halving the entire user base. The milk is now of varying degrees of quality, and the site is now a chaotic cesspool of infighting and petty gossip, i mean, more so. I do not know who would rule under this ideology, but i am fairly confident in saying they would not be as liked as Null.

And i am pretty much a newfag, i must have missed some other cultural kiwi custom that would be interesting to see reflected on a game.

I think this is essentially the same as an occupation and can be a formable puppet instead by Reddit or something. In place of that, it could be something along the lines of ironic CWC worship that at some point down the focus tree turns unironic. Could give an excuse for some crazy units/war goals.

what happened?

TL;DR, in 2021 there was a massive shit show around TNO. The tranny head of mod development at the time Pacifica chimped out over false doxing allegations. Then all of the TNO team gets doxed and their GitLab gets leaked with all the files. Then former team members come out and leak chatlogs onto the Kiwi Farms showing a pedophile ring within the TNO team. This caused a bit of an implosion within the HOI4 modding space and led someone to make a meme mod about the whole shit show.

I think that the few "Conglomerates" should have some kinda modifier that guarantees they dont go to war, and they should probably be HUGEEEE and not really care about involving themselves with petty little kiwifarms...

TENCENT and ALIBABA (Two separate countries in some distant whateverthefuck land
i guess they should be very powerful but for now just only exist for le larp reasons i guess. Maybe next to the youtube nation could be a lot of cult nations led by famous youtubers, no idea, simplest way to do it.
And then we can have like a continent with a shit ton of little nations and a couple big ones that fight together are instable asf and thats where beautiful beautiful kiwifarms is, where 4chan is where all these more "nomad" website nations are at...

Long ago I remember there was an attempt to do this for a few other games, I think one was crusader kings 2 or victoria 2. It was going to be based on a map like this one. I don't know if kiwifarms is on it, but the original attempt was maybe around 2015? I also don't have any experience with this stuff, but I thought some references would be nice. I like the design of the map but disagree how big and small a lot of the websites are.

I tried looking for the farms in these places, but nothing. K*wifarms shafted once again!

Will the 4chan faction be based on old 4chan or nuchan? both have good reasons to exist as modern 4chan serves as a bit of a counterpart and overarching enemy to soyjak.party while old 4chan does a good job of encapsulating a good portion of old board culture DISREGARD THAT I SUCK COCKS (didnt read the part about the soy campaign being about taking over 4chan)

So i take it that you will be covering the modern versions of all these sites and communitys instead of idealized or generalized views on them pertaining to a certain time period? Thats an interesting way to do it (and probably easier since you can verify how cultures are by just researching the aforementioned sites and communes)
Ive not much to say as an allegiance to a particular community is something i never took on but i wish you luck in this project since despite never being able to enjoy these map painting games i respect them for how well they are done, im just unfortunately (or fortunately?) not autistic enough to enjoy them.

Well im thinking that yeah, it will be mostly modern versions of communities, websites, forums, etc. But in some cases perhaps members, memes and other things from years ago could still be used as some funny reference.

Also here's an early version of the map, the places that are actually named are probably gonna be the strongest nations out there, but uhh they're kind of mostly apart of the CONGLOMERATES, so pretty much just peaceful big empires, just as corporations that don't change anything nowadays these guys wont do much (Maybe besides TWO ideas i have.)

Then the rest of the areas will be filled with minor websites, forums, imageboard countries, even subreddit countries, lots of ideas. These will be countries that will probably have content (But uhhh lol... Yeahhhhhhhh i think ill start with like 1 nation and then maybe some more people will wanna help with the effort of adding content)

Website countries for example being : 9GAG, IFUNNY, TUMBLR.
Forum countries being : KIWIFARMS, SOMETHINGAWFUL, RDRAMA
Imageboard countries being : 711CHAN, SOYJAK PARTY, 4CHAN
Subreddit countries being : /r/OkBuddyRetard, /r/Dogelore, /r/196 (A reddit nation would still exist, but i think the most unique subreddits could have their own little nation or whatever.
Maybe uhhh Youtuber cults? Like imagine a nicocado cult bordering the youtube country, i got no idea.

Also before adding a couple more things to the map i tried adding it to hoi4 to see if i can do it, and i can make the map and everything but it crashes (i will have to look a bit more into that, actually does anyone here have experience with map modding?)

Kiwifarms should be a OPM that spends most of its time neutral and laughing at everyone else, but with a possible focus tree path that sees us become the existential threat so many people claim we are. Ein volk, Ein forum, Ein Feeder!

You can take inspiration from meme mods like Make Tannu Tuva Great Again for that. Should be late game though, and locked to both a high world tension and WS.
