Apparently Mama June was dating a guy who molested his daughter and went to prison for it for 10 years. She lied about it, too. Great people, my friends.

Also, thank God it's finally gone.

Update: It was Mama June's now 20 year old daughter who came forward with the info. Also, Mama June bought the guy who raped her own daughter a car. Lastly, it wasn't just molestation, it was forced oral sex. Yep....................

Sadly a lot of people in the U.S. eat up reality T.V. like ice-cream. The dumber the people and the more drama, the higher the ratings, it's considered even better if the people are (seemingly) dirt poor rednecks with no teeth.

But I'm surprised Honey Boo Boo or whatever her actual name is wasn't taken away by authorities a long time ago, her mom and dad are Bob and Barb tier lolcows and they're exploiting a clueless kid for their own fame and it really wouldn't surprise me if there was abuse going on behind the scenes.

I'd honestly say they're a lot worse than Bob and Barb. Even Chris's family wasn't this messed up.

It seems a great tragedy has befallen mankind.

But seriously, I'm not sad at all to see that show go. Reality TV is horrible. Shows classified under that genre always have a disturbingly fetishistic quality to them. It's gross frankly. They call it reality but its about as fictitious as you can get.

That being said, the mom in that show is way worse than Barb. Child pageantry is fucking creepy. No one should force their kids to participate in that.

And another update. Turns out the molested daughter was Mama June's daughter Anna. I thought it was his daughter at first. This makes it even worse. Also, Mama June bought the guy a new car. It also wasn't just molestation, but oral sex forced on her daughter. Great person, this fat cunt is.

I remember when TLC (The Learning Channel) actually gave informative programs/shows, they would usually be documentaries about health and medical stuff, the kind of programming that would later go to channels like Discovery Health. When the reality-TV craze came, channels like Bravo and TLC just became dumpsters for garbage shows like this. It's amazing that Honey Boo Boo lasted for as long as it did, the only reason the network cancelled it was to get away from the shitstorm that would occur as soon as the molestation-background came to light.

Meh, don't mind me. I'm just feeling old because I remember a time where the networks actually seemed to care about their programming. No "Sarah Palin's Alaska" or "John and Kate plus 8", or whatever.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. This is the same network that has that awful Duggar show on it. Should I post some articles from No Longer Qivering that explain how fucked up and abused those kids are?

In all honesty, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo worked because it had just the right mix of rancid brilliance.

The family and show literally had some facet about them that anyone could love to hate. To the political left, they were a bunch of idiotic bible-thumping southern Gun-toting righties. To the political right they were the epitome of the lifelong moocher/welfare-queen families. Intellectual people decried the show as brain-dead sensationalism, and quite frankly I've heard more than one redneck- that had the brains of a pop-tart- growl "That show is a-makin us all look bad. It ain't no good.".

That being said- good riddance. The median IQ of network television just bumped up two or three points.
