How come I can drink energy drinks and tea like water and it doesn't have an adverse effect, but if I drink coffee I chimp out?

I really don't get it. I'm fine with most other forms of caffeine but if I have any amount of coffee whatsoever I'm prone to experiencing psychotic rage that lasts for hours.
