How do we free ourselves?

The first step in freeing ourselves is to free yourself. Break free of the cycle of looking for things to feel despair about, and take some time to look at the broader reality; the world has existed for far, far longer than humanity has, and it's just one small island in an ever-expanding sea that is the universe. Let go of the feeling that everything is building to a calamitous crescendo, and realize that whatever happens, the planet will endure, the universe will endure - and because you're a part of it, you will endure.

The internet is being destroyed by either corporations or clown world politics.
Real world is also being ruined by clown world laws.

What is the path to freeing ourselves from this insanity?

I think the answer is somewhat obvious. The only way you can be truly free is if you leave all of this behind you.

And it's not difficult to achieve really. What is really difficult is accepting what it means. I struggle with this sometimes. I want to complain, but I can only blame myself, I could just do it if I really wanted to.

There won't be internet, or a shitty connexion, and you will be far away from politics, clown laws, and mostly fruitless and immaterial worries. Unless you actively seek for your mind to be poisoned, you will be able to skim by.

You could save money to buy a house somewhere with land, fix it up and live in autonomy, maybe in a small village, maybe nearby. Grow vegetables and keep chickens, maybe other species depending on what you like and the space you have. Trade and sell at small scale.

You would be surprised at how low price some houses can be. In the EU, I could get something with a lot of land for 50K if I was willing to actually follow through. I could even get a fixer upper for 1€ in some places looking to revitalize. Sometimes you also get grants for renovating the place when it has some kind of historic value. If you make it your primary residence, you also don't pay any taxes on added value at sale, though you need to commit for a number of years in most cases.

You just need to set money aside so you can buy your way out of slavery. Work all day, ruminate in your cage at night thinking of how you're going to learn x and y, and one day, you'll be ready to walk into the light.

Important point; you need to have a like minded partner before you take this step. Or there is a very significant chance you will end up blowing your brains out at some point. Feeling lonely around people is one thing. Being lonely in the middle of nowhere or no one 24/7 is another. Kind of weights on you.

1) Nuke Silicon Valley, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
2) Decimate the British Police Force, roman legion style.
3) Launch the troons into an active volcano.
4) Publicly execute all EU-commissars, the UN assembly, ECHR, ADL and WEF.
5) Do the same with Emmanuel Macron and Justin Trudeau.
6) Kick all Arabs and Africans out of Europe. Just ship them south.

I found this quote on another forum, and I think its relevant:

I actually fucking hate that sense of what I call "faggot nihilism" you see redditors parrot a lot. Instead of actually trying to make change or better themselves they'll bitch on the internet about political shit or trannies or blacks or other random groups of people. at that point why don't retards like that just off themselves if they're is no hope beacuse 'gud dam troonies ruined my vidya gams and stories". and anytime you get an optimistic person talking they'll bash it, any time you see a person being more postiive or the like they're bashed as a "tranny/globohomo/leftist shill". because how dare people try to be happy, totally a leftist plot at this point.

I think I know what causes it--you know those anime characters who were like "I was hurt once, so I shut off my emotions"? That's basically such people in a nutshell, minus the self-awareness and social contact. Laziness also helps--if they ever admit they could take action, then they'd have to finally get off their butts and stop whining.

Basically... don't be a faggot nihilist.

Echoing those who have said to work on yourself, not the world.

The present state of things is not sustainable. The good news is that the infrastructure that underpins all the means of propaganda and control will crumble, it all requires a level of finance, computing power, personnel, political stability and technology that won't survive the coming storm. The Western way of government that is becoming ever more tyrannical is based on crumbling infrastructure with deferred maintenance and a giant financial Ponzi scheme that will run out of suckers eventually. And it will do that long before we get in the pod and eat the bugs.

The bad news is that same infrastructure underpins most people's lives and they would not survive without them. Don't be one of those people. Depending where you are, this probably won't mean going full prepper, but you need to have the intelligence to realise where the weak links in our society are (hint: the power grid) and position yourself to survive their failure. Don't be dependent on the internet or an uninterrupted electricity supply to put food on the table. Don't use any technology that phones home or spies on you; use simpler tech and trade features for reliability and lockdown-proofing - a Tesla won't work in 30 years, but a truck running on biodiesel will. Homeschool your kids. Learn skills that will always be useful - I know how to make painkillers and antibiotics from plants and fungi - that's useful even now, even more so in the decades to come.

Because those mechanisms of control depend on the same vulnerable things that are likely to fall, extricating yourself from them as much as you can will serve two simultaneous benefits - it will free you from the Cathedral, and it will put you in the best possible position when shit goes down. Freedom in both mind and body.

Basically ignore it. outside of physically removing yourself from potential conflict, you have nothing to do anyways. And this isn't new to this time period, the entire history of humanity is being at constant peril by nature and your neighbours stupidity and just realizing there is nothing to donbut

The only difference now is that we are aware of how things are fucked and are blasted 24/7 by reminders to it.

"This scene is WAY MORE RELEVANT as an adult."

(a maybe disturbing scene from The NeverEnding Story)

tl;dw: people without hopes or dreams are easier to control

Read Epictetus. You can be free even when you're a literal slave.

Also, things are worse than they were a few decades ago, but they're still pretty good in most places.
Except if you want to be part of the culture war and on the front line, I just recommend you to get out of the big cities, ignore the news, and just live your life peacefully far from it all. Most of it won't reach your front door before you die.
A cultural decline or an empire's fall is a very long process.
