how do we reverse the mobile phone revolution?

Hypothetically make and enact a law saying their illegal to use and enforce that law whenever possible? Set an example from time to time to encourage people to follow it.

Convince the kikes that the magic talking tablets will cause anuddah shoah!

Destroy all cellphone towers to make them worthless bricks and then get everyone to turn them in. Basically what South Africa did in the 60s with TVs (they were trying to protect their people).

There are probably a few things you could do, though how successful they would be or how expensive/difficult it would be to make everyone go along with you is anyone's guess. Move to the woods and write a manifesto. EMP attack over the whole world. Return to monkey.

The "smartphone age" will most likely never end unless civilization ends.
It will be replaced by the BCI age, where everyone has an implant in their brain that with a single thought you can dial a "phone" number, go on the internet (it pops up on your eyeballs as augmented reality), or get information directly implanted in your brain. Siri and Alexa will be voices in your head, and they can speak to you even in your dreams.

Don't forget the advertising beamed directly into your eyeballs and brain! Or how it will be required to have many jobs just like smartphones are now, so better get one or else you'll lose that precious social credit score!

I have looked into EMP strikes, as well as creating a Kessler Syndrome .

Two things. First, there are undersea cables that connect continents together. This will keep most mainstream connections viable. And secondly, nearly all companies and governments have satellites ready to send up if one falls out of orbit from simple random chance.

I know everything was preferable in the past, but even if you somehow got rid of all tech from the nuclear bomb to today? There would still be people who remember "hey remember when we could whack it from a glass screen at tiddies" and they will strive to recreate such tech, even if utterly destroyed. And even if you erased the memory or somehow erased and replaced everyone from before, they would still find evidence of the past and try to recreate it.

Technology is a one-way street.

I hate VR but proliferation of VR applications would basically necessitate proper desktops and high-end laptops.
Bring back phones with keyboards and make bluetooth/USB-C keyboards not shit and maybe people will at least transition to large tablets.
Make Skype and other VoIP applications not shit and people would use them at home and the concept of a home phone would come back. (though tbf i pay my 4bux/mo for skype and it's perfectly sufficient for placing calls and sending texts, idk about any other services)
If you don't post on the farms using a McBeefy desktop with duel monitors, you're doing it wrong.
agreed
phoneposters RAUS

Not even Best Korea, the most based and totalitarian society to ever exist, managed to pull that off. So many people were willing to be condemned along with their children and their children's children to lifetime imprisonment and slavery rather than give up their phones the government eventually had to legalize it and make their own Android fork.

Not if you remind them that such technology nearly destroyed civilization. I mean look at nuclear energy, it's objectively one of the greatest technologies in existence but we don't use it much in large part because it's associated with nuclear bombs. But that's part of why the only option for future human survival is an all-powerful surveillance state that exists to stop people from [re]creating forbidden technology (key among which is AGI), probably using threats like being bombed from orbit.

Smartphones were never banned in DPRK, only cellphones were, and that was only for a few years in the early 00s.

You guys realize that modern tech requires billions of $s and 10,000s of people to make right? Only possible with a strong government that uses its monopoly on violence and infinite coffers to create an environmental specifically tailer to make such conduct guaranteed to be profitable to all parties.

To 'get rid of' tech from daily life you do not need to literally confiscate every phone lol

When you see a smaller person who can't fight back just snatch the phone out of their hand and throw it as far as you can into the distance. Eventually clips of this will go viral on tiktok and it'll hopefully catch on.
brillant idea if we can tie this into the whole fliphone tiktok trend we are golden
